I actually had this video on my computer but never converted it. It's for a Volvo XC90 so not sure if you want to use it.

If you are rooted then root explorer will change any system folder to read/write.I am rooted on my MTCB-JY but the folder is read only so cannot copy.
When modifying boot animations you must always save the zip using "store" as the compression mode. If it is compressed in any way it won't work.I tried to modify the Lincoln animation you made by moving some of the files from the part0 folder to the part1 folder so that more of the animation would loop at the end. But when I reboot I just get a black screen, no animation. Then when the device boots up the screen no longer responds to touch. I have to reflash the ROM to fix it. Any ideas what I did wrong?
Update: I realize I had an extra nested folder inside the zip. I fixed this but now it just goes to black screen and never boots.
I zipped it in ES file explorer and selected "store" I double checked the file permissions and ensured there were no duplicate file names. Any other ideas? When modifying boot animations you must always save the zip using "store" as the compression mode. If it is compressed in any way it won't work.
Could be a number of things. Numerical order wrong, wrong resolution.I zipped it in ES file explorer and selected "store" I double checked the file permissions and ensured there were no duplicate file names. Any other ideas?

Send me a link with it and I will have a look at it.
Is the name of the file bootanimation_dancing_droids_modified.zip or did you just rename it for me to look at it?https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BwfcLTl_U9cTTkhDdm5HWm5aWG8/view?usp=drivesdk
You can probably see what I was trying to do. I took the 10 or so files I wanted to repeat and numbered them in reverse order so it would go back and forth.
LOL that would have been embarrassing. But yeah I just named it that for you to look at. I made multiple versions in trying to find the problem. I had to give them unique names to avoid having to nest each one in its own folder. Is the name of the file bootanimation_dancing_droids_modified.zip or did you just rename it for me to look at it?
If that's the actual name then that's why it's not working. It has to be named bootanimation_dancing_droids.zip
I can only test it on my PC but it works fine. The only other thing I can think of it you haven't set the correct permissions (644).LOL that would have been embarrassing. Thanks, I appreciate the help.I can only test it on my PC but it works fine. The only other thing I can think of it you haven't set the correct permissions (644).
If that isn't the case then I will create the animation using my method and your modified files, send you a link to download and you can try it and see if it works. If it does work then there is obviously something wrong in your method or it's not being compressed correctly.
