Kupa, thx for helping me!

Tried your solution without result.
HU boots normal (cold start 1st boot) and touchscreen is working.
2nd cold boot touchscreen is not responding....All is working, can see HU change time and connected to WIFI only touchscreen will not respond.
When HU is 4-5min on (still no touchscreen response) HU reboot by itself and after reboot HU is working normal (touchscreen working)
Tried with multiple HU 8.1 units (Isudar) and all have same issue.

I took your bootanimation that you attached, installed it, untouched, in my HU, MTCE/PX5/8.0.
It worked like a charm, I rebooted several times, no problems at all!

Your bootanimation is quite graphic intensive, but it seems to be properly created, maybe your HU is a bit picky on graphics…
Create a bootanimation that is less graphic intensive than the one you have right now, just to check if that’s the problem.

Hi kupa,

I appriciat your help!

I tried multiple boot animations from this topic and they all work without issues, I think you'r right that the HU is picky on intensive graphics.

HU is a MTCE/PX30/8.1/2GB RAM. Your HU has a better processor and more RAM I think.
I did make the boot animation in Adobe After Effects. Will re-render the movie with lower settings.
Will render the movie in 50% of screen size of HU (1024x600) and lower the frame rate to 10 then blow up in desc file.
Need to take time for it to get a working boot animation with usable movie.

Keep you informed !

Hi! I would like a request. My screen is 1024x600. Can you use this video for my boot animation? Only the first 30 seconds. Or could be longer or shorter, it's up to you as long as it starts from the beginning of the video;

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b0eu0Z8ee0I

And please use this for part1;

Thank you so much sir!

A few boot animations to get you all started. They are full screen animations so make sure you download the correct one for your resolution.

How to install

Go into "Factory Settings" select the correct animation, you should see the dancing droids (the 2nd one in the drop down list)
Backup original "bootanimation_dancing_droids.zip" located in /system/mtc
Copy new "bootanination_dancing_droid.zip" located in /system/mtc
Change permissions of "bootanimation_dancing_droids.zip" to "644"
REBOOT

If you have seen a video or animated gif that you want as a boot animation make sure to supply a link, even if it's a youtube video :good:

Please let me know what your screen resolution is before requesting an animation.

Don’t think your request will be answered at the moment, @Goose247 has not been logged in since 10th October 2018, don’t know why.

Hi

Are you by any chance capable of creating a boot animation of the 2006 koenigsegg ccx (the red one). because I am really desperate to make one but I do not have time cause I am 14 and I got school and mosque and club. my life is very busy. so please try it. if you aren't able it doesn't matter. ☺☺☺

The jaguar animation in OP is not in portrait mode, it’s landscape, nothing wrong with that one.
Are you really trying to use this on an Android HU?
What Android HU do you have?
What’s the resolution of the HU?

Hi Kupa

I'm trying to use it on a Nexus 7 tablet that I'm building into a head unit. For some reason, the tablet won't re-orientate the animation & only plays in portrait mode. Tried tweaking it to no avail (rotated the images, swapped the resolution in the ext file) to no avail.

I love the animation, just wish I could get it working on my tablet. I can't use an aftermarket head unit as there are so many other functions tied into the Jag infotainment system, which I'm working through.

Hi,
I searched the thread and didn't find a boot screen for a Honda Type R.
If you could make one, that would be wonderful :)
Screen res: 1024*600

Something like the red R zoom in and flash would be great.

Cheers.

Well, with a Nexus 7 tablet you are in the wrong place, you are off topic, this is for MTCB Android HU.
You might have better luck in forums for Nexus 7.

I can not find the folder /system/mtc on my head unit ?
How do I change permission on the PC and not the head unit as my head unit will not allow me to change permission of files.

So while I still have the file on the PC what do I need to do to change the permission to 644 of the zip file PLEASE. :(

I can only install the animation via the BootAnimation App the head unit has the original white ford logo animation works fine but when I try to edit the file via the PC to speed the animation up to 30 or 35 and then install that all I am getting is a black animation screen on the head unit. So either it's due to the permission's or it's just not accepting the new animation speed.

Unless someone can do it for me with the file so it will work.
