Well seeing as you're a fellow Scot I suppose I should :p

1st post updated with vw2 800x480 and vw3 800x480 :good:
Hey m8, do you have the original images for that VW, if yes are they high dpi and if yes, can you give me a link to download them. The animations are perfect, but because are 72dpi they look a bit blurrish. I want to resample them to a bit higher dpi. By the way, do you think this will gonna work?

They were converted from videos and the video resolution quality wasn't the best. So the converted images were as high a quality as I could get.

Hey Goose. I'm trying to modify the Subaru boot animation Malaysk posted on his thread but can't seem it get it to work. The posted animation works but its set for 800x480 resolution and lasts only about 15 seconds.

Logotype - https://yadi.sk/d/01U6xwxZj2zFB
Preview - https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B38...ew?usp=sharing

What I'm trying to do is edit the above animation to fit my 1024x600 Joying headunit and extend the length from 15 seconds to the full boot time of about 30 seconds. I'm running into problems I'm hoping you can help with. Anytime I change the resolution in the desc.txt file it gets stuck during boot. How do you change the resolution? To extend the length I'm thinking of just replaying the first bit of the video (pictures 001 to 131 in part0) twice before pictures 132 to 200 play. It's a really neat video of the cam's, pistons, injectors, etc. and seems like it could replay without much notice and extend the length.

The actual .jpg image sizes need to match exactly what's in the desc.txt. I've redone it for you but I need to ask a favour, before you open the animation to see what I've done, try it on your unit 1st as I have done something slightly different. On my PC it's running to about 30 seconds now but when I test animations on my PC they tend to run slightly slower (longer) but see what it's like 1st.

Thanks Goose! Works great and matches the boot time nearly perfectly. Sits on the Subaru screen at the end for just a few seconds like it should. I took a peak in the file after I tried it and it looks like along with changing the desc.txt file resolution setting, proper resolution image files have to be used. One thing I'm going to try and edit is the beginning where the pistons are moving real fast. I'm going to try looping part0 at a few different lower numbers. Thanks again!

Edit: Tried two different loop numbers for part0. 12 and 15. Both ended with bootup freezing. Yikes. Back to your version Goose!

When you re-save the zip file you need to use "store" as the compression method.
