Hi! I'm using a Lollipop TouchWiz on Galaxy A3 and just tried to flash your zip... It fails replacing bootanimation. Any advice to work around? Anyway thanks a lot for this.

First I downloaded the samsunganionly zip and flashed it. Installed the bootanimatiom via boot animations root app. Didn't work. Then I found that I haven't install busybox yet. So I downloaded the app from Play Store, install BB, flashed the zip file again and installed the bootanimation. Didn't work, again. Then I tried to flash the bootanimation4u (w/o the anionly), installed the animation again. Failed. Flashed the google gear zip. Falied. Now my phone boots up and hangs at the Samsung Galaxy Logo (not the black screen) until it boots into Android. What should I do? Damn it
Btw, bootanimation and samsungani is available in /system/bin/

I haven't tried flashing his animation because it's the wrong size for my display, but it includes a working bootanimation binary for newer devices. If you copy system/bin/bootanimation straight over rather than going through the flashing process, don't forget to set the permissions to 0755.

Only the boot animation is changed, shutdown animation remains the same.. pls help

I did everything as told, but sadly in my samsung galaxy star gts7262, only the boot animation is changed but the shutdown animation has remained unchanged.. so now i am stuck with two boot animations. Pls help.

Okay so I'm pretty new to this. I've flashed both files in recovery using just the twrp manager app. First bootanimation.zip then anima4u right after. I've double checked that bootanimation.zip is in both media and bin and still I'm getting nothing on startup but a black screen. Any help would be much appreciated!

I get same thing on Note 4. It obviously did something as original telstra boot animation no longer appears but it now longer has any boot animation

Please help guys, I've got both of the files changed right now but none of the custom boot animations are working for me. My current boot animation is just a black screen and I can't find anyway to restore the stock boot animation.

It happened right after I flashed the zip file which modified samsungani and bootanimation so can someone please upload the stock files for these both files? Thanks a lot, I've been fixing this for hours.

No it is the same and doesn't work. Still black screen for me, and my home screen grid keeps on changing to 4x5 itself after a restart. I need the original stock bootanimation and samsungani, someone please help.

Did you put a bootanimation.zip in system/media?

I guess you need to reflash a stock firmware. Sorry for that bro.
