There is a lot of recording apps on Market.
I have tested a lot of them and think Total Recall is the best one.

Yes, you can hide the notification in statusbar.
When record starts a toast will appear - if you want.

This is for TotalRecall as an app. It has nothing to do with the lib.
The lib as it is does only make it possible to run TotalRecall or other apps.

TR FC sometimes on mine... Miss the dialer with built-in recorder in Chinese roms... But ill take CM over that...

Warning: You must inform the other side the call is being recorded.

1) Install attached files with CWM.
2) Install your favorite call recorder app.
3) Enjoy call recording.

Hi I just flash using CWR (install update.zip from SDCARD method) but no and call recorder aps is already installed in rom but still not call recording menu under dialler? please help me?

edit: when I try to install camera.zip it says application not install

The recording app is not in the dialer, you will need to open and configure total record manually, there you can configure what to record.
And what the camera.zip has to do with call recording??

research+reading usually works very well on this forum. I know that the best threads are huge and all...

There is a Chinese dialer with builtin recorder. In original dialer you have Bluetoth down left. It is changed to recordbutton in chinese dialer.
But still you need the recording libs in this thread.

I think that dialer only works for 2.2 ROM?

Would like to try an alternative of Total Recall but don't see any viable out there.

Should I just replace the file libaudio or install zip file all of the post 30?

One of this two solution but i prefere install zip via recovery when i upgrade CM7 Nightly

I replace all files with the files call_rec_libs_GB.zip in #01, I changed my cell phone for Storage, copied some apk of call recorder, and installed them.
Try recording call's, and no work, then I restart the phone.
So, he freezes in first screen, and not boot up.

I'm try connect it into PC, and open adb shell, but the chellphone is not found:
* daemon not running. starting it now *
* daemon started successfully *
error: device not found

I'm try this, because in another forum I found these explanation:
Just plug in "frozen" phone to computer via USB, run adb shell, type chmod 644 /system/lib/libaudio.so and exit

I'm try too: boot up the cellphone, first press and hold the vol -, and power.
He power up, showing:

AP Fastboot Flash Mode (S)
0A40

Battery OK
OK to Program
Connect USB
Data Cable

I connect usb cable, and:
Battery OK
OK to Program
Transfer Mode:
USB Connected

but adb still not recognizes the cellphone.
Windows make a sound of the device is plugged in USB, but none drive is locked in Explorer.
I'm try press all key's, but they no change de mode of connection of the cellphone.

I'm try this on a Droid 3, original version of Android 2.3.4, Vivo carrier.

Someone have any idea how start up again the cellphone?

If it does what are you using ? The lib for cm7 and TotalRecall (what version) ?
