I managed to get call recording working on beta Emui 9.1 for C432. I extracted the needed files from the 9.0 version of the Magisk module, and replaced them in the Emui8 twrp file.

I just needed to do a complete reset of the phone after flashing with twrp. If anyone is interested, twrp flashable file is attached.

Can you explain in more detail how you did it? Thank you

Well done :good:

Did you manage root EMUI 9.1 ?
Which TWRP are you using to flash the zips?

Are you in EMUI 9.1?

You can create your own zip file:
- Pick up zip that fits your region an unpack it, then delete the folder "HwCallRecorder" located in the folder cust\hw\eu\app\
- Unpack magisk module for EMUI 9, and copy folder "HwCallRecorder" located in the folder system\app
- Back to the first zip unpacked, then past the folder "HwCallRecorder" in the same place that you previously deleted i.e cust\hw\eu\app\
- Zip and it is ready to flash with TWRP

Note that path hw\eu is valid only for EU region (C432), for other regions will be different.

How do I root on Android 9?

EMUI 9 is pretty easy, patch recovery_ramdisk.img with magisk, flash recovery patched into recovery partition then boot into recovery, the device boot as rooted, done.

In the EMUI 9.1 not sure if it works.

Sorry to bother you, but where can I find these files?

PM me, discuss how to root is a little bit off topic in this thread, can be in Portuguese, is it your mother language, right?

I haven't rooted, I haven't even tried, because I do not have the need to. Only thing that I would have rooted for is this call recording, but as I have it figured out without root...

As for TWRP, I used this one https://forum.xda-developers.com/hu...overy-twrp-3-2-1-0-p20-lite-edition-t3800692.
Ok, but use my TWRP with caution, it was designed for Oreo not for Pie. Don't use it to wipe partitions, I thought that I had time enough to figure out this issue but in meantime I have been moving to Pro version.
