Some Users Requested ICS Camera to be ported to CM10

Great work, works like a charm including the panorame mode! :good:

But careful, don't activate the voice option or it will crash because it's missing some libs.
A data wipe of the camera apps will be necessary to fix the FC.

There is a weird bug I noticed after flashing your camera on CM10(new bootloader)

I am on pengus ROM latest version with latest kernel

I uninstalled existing(ICS+ camera) from my phone before flashing the LGECamera.zip

the camera works as it should with constant 30fps(although no option to choose bitrate or video quality)

But when I turn screen on....brightness is suddenly increased.
brightness value in settings>display>brightness does not change
& when I go there,brightness returns to the defined value.But when i turn screen on again....same bug.

luckily I made a nandroid backup prior to flashing the zip...so I am back to normal.
I didnt notice the bug
But again when I flashed the zip file same bug occurs.

Anyone else getting this problem?

Whats your ro.product.model= on your build.prop its not LG-P990 that could be your issue as it on a Generic Profile Like i'am using on P920 as this camera uses Switches to activate and disable features. The Camera ramps up the brightness to full when you open it. Is you're device on auto brightness ? maybe it's unable to revert to Sensor set brightness.

I think this app ignore media_profiles.xml See my media_profiles.xml in attachments.

You Might be right as value/arrays contains bitrate if this anything like arccamera i will just find the method that feeds into framework and override it with a const :D

It has been a while since I saw a good picture with flash on my phone! Thanks! Pics without flash are better too! Panorama works! Awesome! :good:

Can you by any means try to make photo sphere work for our phone? I don't think it can happen but doesn't hurt to ask right? :p

All working great here, including panaroma, on the pacman rom (CM10 based).
Thanks a lot!

For those wonder if this is bootloader dependent, no it isnt because the updater script in this mod uses busybox to mount system, i.e. it doesn't access the partition by partition number, so you can use this on both bootloaders :D

    Can you make one zip with 720 at 10mbit and 1080 at 20mbit so we can test both resolutions
    720 is working nice but in latest zip ,1080 still was fc-sing,probably couse of 2 high bitrate and added tweaks...
    Tnx for everything

    Right now to get bot res working you have to flash Lg camera fc fix_1 then manually copy apk from this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=36581928&postcount=43


    ps2: Also you can look at this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1594061&highlight=cam+mod and http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1090785&highlight=cam+mod that was probably best cam mod we had back days on gb ;)
    Maybe it will give you some hints on ics cam or you can manage to port that cam to ics and cm10;)Tnx

    okay i will work from that and up the bitrates i don't know i may have effed up the code will start fresh from that LG camera Fix
