[MOD] Change Data icons without editing Build.prop 4.3 I 4.4.2 [i9500 I 9505 I i9506]

Hi Folks;
I made a small mod from scratch, initially for my personal use but I thought that some others will like it too and decided to share it here.

It's not something spectacular, only the data connected icons which look a lot better than the stock ones.

Made for i9505 INERNATIONAL variant but can be flashed on i9506 too and surely Note 3 (also international version).
Works with i9500 too, you'll get 2G,3G and 4G in replacement of H+.

This small mod will change the icons without editing the Build.prop

29/03: I9500 owners; to add 3G+ and make H as 4G, download from ► here◄ and flash it ontop of the initial zip.

How to Flash:

• Download the attached .zip
• Put it in internal or external SD
• Boot into custom recovery
• Flash and reboot!

restore default

hy,

i have a GT i9505 international version, and i'm on GE BH, and when i flashed this mod i lose the LTE option.

Now i just have GSM, WCDMA, or GSM/WCDMA.

The LTE option is gone.

can u plz release a .zip to restore the default system files?

Hi,
There's no way that this mod causes a loss of LTE.
it's just a Vrtheme. ..for Icons, it doesn't touch anything else.
So, your problem was caused by something else or you don't have an i9505
Or maybe you've Edited your build.prop?

maybe u'r right, i edited the buid.prop to get S5 toolbar widgets and i think it could be that!

Try to restore your build.prop (when you edit it, there's an automatic backup named build.prop.bak )
Rename it again to build.prop..hope that your LTE will work again .
I've seen some members having problems with EFS too after editing the build.prop

Using SGH-M919 (T-Mobile version) running the i337 Goldeneye ROM and I have a slight issue. When in a H+/H area, mine displays 4GLTE. Fix? Should I rename some files?

Hi,
it should work as the files are the same.
Do a backup (at least systemUI.apk) just in case and flash the zip.
