Yes, it will work if you have a custom recovery.

Flash THIS ZIP you will get the 3G+ icon and H will become 4G

Upload S5's SystemUI.apk and I'll check.

Hi,
You can't do it with just root explorer...
You need to decompile your systemUI.apk, change the icons in res/drawable-xxhdpi and push it back to system/priv-app

Download the attached .rar, unzip it and you'll get SystemUI.apk

• Using root explorer or any file manager with root access, push it to system/priv-app
• Set permissions to: rw--r-r
• Reboot your phone.

Hi,
Download the zip, then extract the icons from res/drawable-xxhdpi and put them in your systemUI in res/drawable-xhdpi folder.
Check first if the files are named the same way..if no, rename them to match the S3 ones..that's all.

Here you go..
Just replace your systemUI.apk and set permissions.

hey man could you please do one for me too?tried the zip in the op but the H isn't changed at all. I am away from a pc so i couldn't check well.
it's from phoenix rom 9.4 with s5 theme ui
