It forces apps to open in 4K... Take MX Player and see yourself... Take a game, for example Real Flight Simulator... Open Settings file in /data/data/... and you can read yourself...

No. It forces them to render in 4K. The display will just get downscaled back to 1080p.

We can see that from the kernel side too.

You can't "open in 4K*, this isn't Windows.

Hello, after setting wm to 4k and dpi to 800, all vr app's using cardboard (like vrtv, deovr or vr player pro) do not use the full screen. Maybe the half of the screen.
Is there a fix, maybe via cardbord profile code?

A non cardboard vr player like varvr working correctly, but does not play all of my 4k files.

screenshot issue

i still have a issue when i changed to 4K, QHD or any resolution higher than 1080p. That is when i take a screenshot, the details just display in a part of the picture and the rest of it is black.

Custom Roms

Works well except for both Lineage and CarbonRom the resolution changes but the buttons no longer work. It's effectively unusable. It works with the stock rom though. Anyone else have this problem?
Thanks for the great tip though.
