Just download the stock logo.bin and replace itworks good. Just curious how do you return to the old splash logo ? Flash factory images via fastboot ?

Take a look in the original thread. A bigger logo was requested and made already a long time ago. If i find A LOT of time i will try to extract the logo from a 6P but for now use the ones from the original thread. If i remember correctly i made 3 sizes in total.Looking really good, but not quite there yet, the logo is smaller than the one present on the Nexus 6P, wich causes a change in size when entering the bootanimation, it would be cool if someone could take the original logo from the Nexus 6P factory image (maybe @Droidphilev could help).
Also, the zip posted by @misterpyrrhuloxia won't work correctly unless we delete some apps from system.
Here is a Nexus 6P booting, https://youtu.be/h0P64xc4ErM check 3:38s.
Thanks @Droidphilev already tried the remaining 2 sizes, but they are bigger, same problem, it would be cool if you could extract the original from the Nexus 6P. ?Take a look in the original thread. Well... I won't make that as it is a lot of work to get that image right. You have now a logo.bin that comes original form the 6P. If the logo in that bootanimation is different then you should edit the bootanimation not the bootloader logo IMO.That one is too big @Droidphilev, i extracted the image from the bootanimation, that one should be the same size, if you make a flashable zip from it it would be awesome.?

My wife has the 6P and I can confirm that the new Nexus 6P boot splash that you shared above is accurate size.Well... I won't make that as it is a lot of work to get that image right. Ok, so I took my original, combined flashable zip from above and replaced the Logo.bin with the actual size one that was extracted from the Nexus 6P and then grabbed the stock bootanimation.zip from my wife's Nexus 6P and placed that in this new flashable zip. I've tested it on my phone and now, if you flash the below file, it'll be the exact boot splash image and boot animation from the 6P. And they actually match in size perfectly!!Well... Thank you ! Works great

If you'd rather not flash both the boot splash and the bootanimation in one file, just use @Droidphilev's above extracted file and then place the bootanimation-nexus-6p.zip that I attached below in /system/media, rename to bootanimation.zip, and set perms to 644 and reboot!
Great work! Works perfect. Thanks.
