I did, even tried it again just now. Even ran the .bat in admin mode on windows 7, no error this time, but still no luck...Sounds like you didn't flash the custom_param file with ODIN.

For those of you that it worked for are you using stock kernel or Codeworkx's?
Edit: I'm going to flash a different kernel then try again and see if it works. I will let y'all know if it is possibly Codeworkx's kernel.
Edit2: Ok I just try Entropy's kernel and that did not work either. Any clues what is going on?
adb push zImage /sdcard/zImage
adb shell dd if=/sdcard/zImage of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p5
So are you saying then this bootscreen method will only work on a stock only kernel? Any of the daily's and modified kernels will not work with the mod.logo_att.jpg is only displayed when the bootloader thinks you're on a stock kernel.
Otherwise, logo.jpg is displayed. That's why the ! screen also says I9100.
To get logo_att.jpg to display, you need to:
1) Once rooted, flash stock kernel
2) Flash your custom kernels on-device going forward, either
a) via CWM
b) via the following ADB commands
Code:adb push zImage /sdcard/zImage adb shell dd if=/sdcard/zImage of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p5
Only if the last thing you flashed with Odin/Heimdall is the stock kernel. The bootloader only thinks you're on a non-stock kernel if the last thing you flashed with it was non-stock. It doesn't check what's currently there if it was flashed with another method. So are you saying then this bootscreen method will only work on a stock only kernel? Any of the daily's and modified kernels will not work with the mod.
Hint: This is aI have a friend who is wanting to get rid of the ! screen. We tried going back to a stock back up and flashing this and it worked but we couldn't get a stock rooted kernel back without getting the ! point cause we lost clockwork mod each time and root. Can anyone offer a stock rooted kernel to flash via odin that won't give the exclamation or how to root via adb so i can flash a kernel via adb that includes clockwork mod?
USB Jig will get rid of your issue with the ! and reset the Flash counter and also mount the ATT Logo on .lfs partition again and if you flashed the above mentioned boot screen it will display the custom logo instead (Like my attached logo now resides in the .lfs folder as logo.jpg and logo_att.jpg). Mobile Tech Videos has the jig there and they work like a champ! there are several posts here and videos explaining how to revert back to stock if needed.I have a friend who is wanting to get rid of the ! screen. Just. Bought a jig and it worked like a charm. I pulled. The battery, waiting 15 seconds, put the battery back in and then plug. The jig in and wala,. Finally the triangle and the i9100 logo is gone. Hi guys/girls,
I picked up an I777 SGS II the other day and decided to extend my development of the SGS boot screen MOD to it and was able to port it the same day as not much has changed in the way the param.lfs operates. I know this works just fine on the AT&T I777 SGS II in which the param.lfs calls for logo_att.jpg but if it fails, you can always re-flash a stock param.lfs to restore the boot screen which I have also included. I have written this for (I897, I9000, T959, T959V, I9100 and now I777). Per XDA's rules, I'll just attach the RAR package as an upload at the bottom of this post.
No go.To anyone having issues, try the SGS II I9100 port I made a while back. This will write to the logo.jpg zone instead of the logo_att.jpg zone which is perhaps the error some of you are seeing. It's all about what the kernel calls for when requesting the logo. If it's a kernel built on I777 source, it will call for logo_att.jpg, if it's I9100 source, it will call for logo.jpg.
