This thread was very helpful with a g925r param but, instead of dumping sda4 dump sda7 thats where the correct logo.jpg file is, for the s6 edge g925r variant... thanks again to everybody for their help!!

Ok so I cannot get the repack to work. Maybe someone can tell me why.
Code:
[email protected]:/ $ su
[email protected]:/ # cd /sdcard/param
[email protected]:/sdcard/param # tar cf - 'ls | sort -t.' > /sdcard/param.bin
tar: ls | sort -t.: No such file or directory
tar: error exit delayed from previous errors
1|[email protected]:/sdcard/param #

I just wanted to say that I pulled my param.bin from sda4. I am on T-mobile S6 edge.
I know it is right because I got the files I needed after I extracted the bin. sda7 is not correct from what I just did.
where you able to find the stock splashscreen for Tmo S6E? all i have found is the one for the regular version.. :(

if you happen to have it. could you share it, please?:)

I dont think so ask around about that. I followed a tutorial on how to extract my own param file and got a lot of help and fixed my boot splash, now im sharing it to help others that was in my situation.

I'm gonna try this, thank God there is a way to actually restore it if it somehow gets hard-bricked,only gonna probably need to change from sda4 to sda10 I think I saw from the partition layout on the Galaxy S3,it would be cool to get that working

Just make sure that you use the right partition and that your logo.jpg is not too large. Try to keep it under 200k.

Love custom boots. Easy to mess up and make for a hard recovery though!

Turns out the phone doesnt like jpegs made with gimp in linux. Gave me a massive brick.

Resaved the image using mspaint through wine and it worked.

My countrys csc has no param.bin in any of its binary downloads. Took a bit of hunting to find one I could flash to restore it. :D

Love the one you have on the first post. I made mine a picture of tux mixed with the debian logo, followed by live boot for a running log at startup it makes for a great linux style boot. :)

Here's my current boot image.

Not the greatest, But I got bored shortly after making it so left it as is.
Click image for link to flashable zip. (Tested on my 920i 6.0.1)
