[MOD] Custom Sense 3.0 Lock Rings for GB 2.3.3 and 2.3.4 {09.01.11}

I am not a developer, but I have made several lock rings and I thought that I would give back to the community. If you like them give me a thanks, a donation, or both would be great. I will take requests, but please understand that I have a job, a house to maintain, and a family to take care of, so I will work as quickly as I can. If you post a picture that would be the easiest for me, so I don't have to find one, and check to see if it's what you're looking for. I will give people who donate priority of course. They should work on most Sense 3.0 Roms. Flash at your own risk of course, and the usual disclaimer applies (I take no responsibility for bricked or damaged devices), NANDroid backup first. You may have to mount system and data first, and as always flash with CWM. Here are some of the ones I've done so far. Enjoy. all images found on google. A big thanks to jmaher1023 for the lock ring kit that got me started.

Edit:another way that might work is to open the zip file with winrar go to the apps folder drag the fusion.apk file to your desk top, than put the file on your sd card. Using Root Explorer, copy the fusion.apk file to system/app folder copy over the old fusion.apk file change permission to x x. This might work if you can't get it to work from CWM. Thanks to inspired 55 for the input on this, and the help on creating the 2.3.4 zips.

I have been getting a lot of the same questions so here is a little FAQ
1. Will this work on 2.3.5?
A: NO. The reason behind this (thanks inspired55) is that there are no png files to replace in 2.3.5. Until we can figure this out it will be a no go.
2. Will this work on any theme/skin?
A: No only default, blue sky, and burgundy. I am attempting to get slate to work. I just found out thanks to inspired55 that slate may be a no go, but once I give it a try and see how time consuming it is, I'll let everyone know.
3. I flashed the zip successfully, and nothing changed, why?
A: One of 4 possible scenarios; 1 you need to mount system and data in CWM, 2 you need to push the fusion apk into system/app folder using ADB, 3 it is not compatible with your rom, or 4 you are not on the default, blue sky, or burgundy skin.
4. Why do I keep seeing the stock ring over top of the custom one when dragging an app into it?
A: You are using Virtuous Unity 2.35, and I'm not sure why yet, but it is the only ROM so far reporting this glitch. I am trying to find a fix be patient. If you get this problem and you are using a different ROM please report it, Thanks.
5. Will these work on Sense 3.5.
A: Not sure yet need to decompile the apk's to find more info.
6. I have sense 3.0 and 2.3.3/2.3.4 but these still won't work, why?
A: My zips only push the fusion and idlescreen_base to system/data. Some sense 3.0 roms require the fusion file to go to data/app_s and the idlescreen_base to go to system/app. You can simply push the necessary files to these folders using root explorer or an equivalent program.

No problem. I'll see what I can do about the jets ring. As far as those roms I'm pretty sure that virtuous is ok. Make sure you are using the default theme and sense 3.0 and you should be good. Should be able to have the jets ring together by tomorrow morning. Stay tuned.

Not to my knowledge. The problem, at least I think, would be that you couldn't get the zip file to write to the root of the os.
