Hello folks.
Today I stucked with a problem, that I can't open site. After huge research I found a way, how to generate this bootlogo without web site (but I used .zip, generated before)
So:
1. you need to download plugin from this web-site http://forums.getpaint.net/index.php?/topic/16747-rgb565-android-splash-screen-format/ and setup it according to instructions.
2. Then you need to launch "Paint.net" and choose desired image.
3. Choose save option, and in "File types" dropdown choose "rgb565"
4. Finish saving
5. Rename saved file to the splash.565
6. Put it into the archive, generated by site
7. Flash in in recovery
upd - all these steps were made on Windows OS and I want to say thank you for a topic starter! Without your explanations on the start topic I would never found a workaround and I hope that you will fix your site
