I got sick of CM's connection issues so I reverted back to ND8. I have all the files like the Tether fix and kernel still in tact, but I can't seem to find the WiFi fix.

I searched this thread but I can't find it. WiFi just won't turn on. Can someone point me in the direction of the download please?

There is no "known" WiFi issue, so there is no fix. Did you factory reset and wipe internal sd (data/media) when coming from cm?

This mod is now a hit and a miss.
I tried this mod on two GS3.
The first one works, however, it also broke all Google apps that I updated after the mod.

The second one, I update all the app before I make the mod and the phone stuck at the Samsung logo after the Sprint logo.

Try the modification that uses your msl with a dialer code adding ,dun. Only works on tw roms. You need to get your msl/spc #
Go to dial pad and type ##3282# (##DATA#) and hit*EDIT*then enter the MSL/SPC . Next go to*MORE*... scroll down to*LTEAPN SETTINGS... select*APN2 LTE internet*.....
About half way down and select*APN type*and add ,Dun inside the textbox and select OK. Reboot. Might only work on stock rooted ROM.
Not my work by the way, I will find a link and credit when I have a minute.

After LTE APN Settings, there is only one item on the list, LTE-SPRINT OTA, and it's not clickable. I am on stock rooted ROM.

Those were someone else's instructions. So I don't have much info. Did you get your msl?
Come to think, that may have been for the triband. I forgot where I read it. I'll see if I can find it.

I don't normally post because I'm a very basic phone user without much knowledge to share, but I wanted to let people know that the information provided in this thread does work on the OH1 version. I originally tried the ND8 Odex zip (I'm just running stock rom/custom recovery/rooted) and my phone got stuck on the Samsung logo. Never have I been happier to have made a backup earlier. lol

Anyway, I downloaded services.odex from post #583, unzipped it. I used the Root Browser app to first backup my original file, and then paste the downloaded/unzipped file, in the framework folder, as explained in post #601. I am figuratively so blonde (girl) I couldn't figure out the Mount R/W part (don't see it anywhere in app menus!) but I guess Root Browser took care of that part for me behind the curtain. :)

I rebooted, and I just tested the native Sprint hotspot. I did not get any more messages about not having a subscription; my other phone connected to the hotspot just fine and I could browse the net on it. Thank you so much to everyone who put this together. I am not a big data user but the tethering restriction really, really bugged me (especially during emergency situations like Hurricane Matthew the other week when I needed to pay a bill on the laptop), and nothing else I tried to get rid of this restriction worked for me.

P.S. The LTE APN Settings "hack" (##DATA#) does not work on L710, only on L710T from what I read and tried on mine.
