Working on 4.4.2 Wanam. I was looking for this for so long. I like stock rom way much better than CM/GPE. I love Samsung stock keyboard and now with iOS emoji I can say its complete. Its beyond me why Google, Samsung and Apple can't stick their hads out of their asses and make an agreement about such a small matter and make an unified emoticons support.

I was using a similar mod on GPE. But that was for all devices runing KitKat except Touchwiz. But unfortunately on GPE I don't have Samsung stock keyboard. And for me this is the best keyboard. I tried Swiftkey beta with emoji support, I tried a port of Xperia Z1S keyboard with emoji support. Yet I still find the Samsung one way much better for my needs.

For those using this mod on an custom rom they could try this port of Xperia Z1S keyboard with emoji support:

Guys this is so great! Kitkat emojis don't express the same as ios emojis. I have one question.. Is it possible to make them bigger?

Oh and the best keyboard that i have found until now is "ios7 emoji keyboard pro" by idev good team. This is the only one that doesn't come with qwerty keyboard so you can access emoji immediately. The layout is very similar to ios7.

I downloaded an app called "select input method pro" (I hid it with nova launcher) and set one of my phone softkeys to open that app(gravitybox). The app basically lets you change your input method quickly without having to open your quick settings or notifications panel.

Country flags are still the same.. No flag, just displaying GB US RU, etc

There's no way to make the emoji bigger. It's font related.
About the keyboard, yeah i've used that one before. I'm using Swiftkey Beta now and it is just perfect. Long press the enter key and we have all the emoji :)
