I see only one person flashed the sbf without removing sim and sdcard, is this safe to do with this radio?

I connected my phone to the computer while it was on and adb was enabled, started RSDLite and selected the 1.8.7 radio file. RSDLite detected my phone while it was on. I thenhit start and it rebooted my phone (in RSD mode I think) and installed the radio.

That is definitely odd. This SBF file is only 20mb and the full 1.26 file is 553mb when zipped and even larger when unzipped..I wonder how it sent you back to 1.26 without all of that extra data.

You know what probably happed is I had the 1.26sbf on my desktop and I flashed it by accident :s

I was too lazy to take the sim and sd card out. No issues flashing the update..

RSD Lite v5.0 here.

Starts grey here as well. The shipping radio will flash just fine. Any ideas?

Wow, This was really fast literaly took less than 5 minutes! Christmas Came early! check out the before speeds and the after speeds! Now Im no mathematician but .33 x 3 = .99 So thats OVER 3 times the upload speed and the DL speed doubled

Try the way i used to flash the sbf. Keep your phone on, usb debugging enabled and start RSDLite. choose the 1.8.7 radio sbf file and see if it is still greyed out.

Ive tried all manors specified in previous posts to flash this sbf. In all ways I get the

Failed Flashing Process. Failed Flashing Process. (0x7100); phone connected

After leaving it connected and displaying that error for a while, I clicked start again and it flashed it with no issues.

I powered the phone off, then turned it on holding vol up. Ran RSD lite plugged phone in said connected then hit start. RSD lite will run and then restart your phone while its still running. Finally once it booted up a min later it said PASS

Good to see folks on the att side getting better speeds.

So we have established that sbf files can be edited, now to see what else can be done.

Whenever I flash in RSD, I always have it set in RSD mode through Fastboot. I don't take out my SIM or SD Card or anything like that.

Phone's being rebooted now, can't wait to have HSUPA finally enabled

What area do u live in. I didnt see that much improvement in where I am. Im in jersey
