I'm running the i9000 JM5 on my cappy with Samset 1.9e rom (its a sticky in the i9000 forums). In that optimized rom the menu icons and such are redone beautifully except it's an orange theme (signal bars, wifi, menus .ect) when I tossed on the i9000 version of this battery mod I turned everything orange back to grey/black but I got to keep most of the better looking menu icons. so thank you very very much!

Thanks so much, very sweet.
Also I have the evo clear bar running with this w/ no issues. I had clear bar installed via metamorph. When I ran the update from the boot screen it displayed the new battery but reset the status bar to stock. I then went back into metamorph and re-installed the clear bar, phone rebooted and came up with the clear bar using the new battery. For anyone interested, results may vary of coarse. *Samsung Vibrant

Odd, pull down your build.prop and pastie.org it.

"adb pull /system/build.prop"

seems like the stuff checking the device cant match yours.

Looks great with Evo Black Bar!

For those wondering how to do it, you need to create a new update.zip.
1. Extract the framework-res apk (after extracting from the zip in the first post) (using APK Manager)
2. Extract the Evo Black Bar mod
3. Copy the files from \Evo_Blackbar\framework-res\res\drawable-hdpi into the corresponding folder for the extracted apk.
4. Rezip the apk
5. Copy into update.zip
6. Use as directed

Then apply every .apk in MetaMorph except the framework.

I've attacthed the update.zip that worked for me on JF6.

Worked on JF6 with unleash the beast 2.0, but I only had to do the update.zip, and I have the black bar.

Is there a reason I'm not aware of for having to go through with the rest of the apks in metamorph?
