Yes,
you need to:
- Download the sources from github (not the already ready flashable zip);
- Extract them;
- Replace the file;
- Then replace the hash (currently sha1 hash) of the replaced file from zip-content/origin/file-list.dat;
- Then build it with build.bat (Windows) or build.sh (other OS).

Where do I find the sources of the "full" version? I need the sources of

"microg-unofficial-installer-v1.2.0.6-alpha" - full.​

I didn't download the sources, instead I edited the already ready flashable zip.
I replaced an apk with different sign and then edited 'file-list.dat' with sha1 hash of the new apk and flashed the modified zip in recovery.
It worked.

Even the zip itself have a signature that is broken by editing, but many recovery skip this check.
Instead if the recovery check the signature it will fail.

Thank you for this great microG installer.
After flashing the Full alpha version 1.2.0.6 most of the things are working fine. Even with internet turned on battery consumption is almost zero when device is idle.

Before flashing I modified the version code of microG apk with a greater version number than that of the latest Google Play Services to make it look like Google Play services (actually microG) is already updated.
This way Google Play Store doesn't keep trying to update microG (gmscore). So battery consumption decreased.

But I face a problem with location accuracy. I found only 3 location modules bundled with your installer.
Would you please add one or two more location modules, because Mozilla location module never worked for me in our area (India).
I tried installing other location modules from fdroid , but sometimes they work.

Bundled location providers should not give better results than installed as user app. There is no good network location provider for India. Except Google.

Suggestion: use déjà vu and map your neighborhood with open map app and enabled satellite location.

I flashed minmicroG earlier. Whenever I enabled Mozilla location module it was showing wrong location. But disabling Mozilla location module and enabling other modules showing accurate location.

I plan to add more backends in the future.
Every backend may work differently in different areas, the best thing to do is try them all and see what works best.

It depends, since on newer Android versions background execution is severely limited but many limitations can be avoided by tweaking something on the system partition.

Released microG unofficial installer v1.3.0 beta, the link is on the first post.

- Add support for mounting system partition at /mnt/system (@mjenny)
- Improve compatibility with legacy shells

I installed from recovery, but "Permission to access location in the background" and "Permission to receive text messeges (sms)" are not active.

Strange, it worked on all phones where I have tried it.
But you can probably fix it just by using this:

New test builds with support for uninstallation.
During flashing, it will ask via LIVE SETUP if you want to "Update / reinstall" or "Uninstall" (it won't ask it on the first time).

    Your terminal script very good.

    I had installed your micog-unofficial v1.3.0.1 over A13 Vanilla GSI ROM successfully , every things works except "play protect certify". Any advice's to do with it. Thanks you very much. Very happy.

    Yes.

    It is possible that some apps are using Play Store even if they weren't installed via Play Store.

    If this is the case it is possible that they will work with my installer but I can't grant it.

    1. Copy the flashable ZIPs to the phone;
    2. Add signature spoofing (needed only for ROMs without built-in support for it) to your ROM using Tingle or FakeGApps;
    3. In the recovery flash the zip of microG unofficial installer;
    4. In the recovery flash the zip of Google Sync Add-on (optional);
    5. Restart the phone.
