I installed it on Lineage 20 (vanilla), but after booting I keep getting the message:

"Google Play Store keeps stopping"

But I don't (or didn't) have Play Store, it's just Fake Store (FakeGApps):

But I noticed that now I had Google Play Store in my apps list, where I didn't before. I tried clearing it's data & cache and reinstalling FakeGApps, but it didn't help.

I went back to v1.3.1 and it's ok again (And Google Play Store is not there anymore, as before).

Edit: I think there is supposed to be some included Fake Store with MicroG now:

So I removed FakeGApps and tried v1.3.1.5-alpha again, but I still get the "Google Play Store keeps stopping" when I boot, and now the MicroG self-test doesn't pass "System spoofs signature" and "Play Services has correct signature."

Don't mix fakeStore and fakeGApps. FakeStore is a stub to cinvince silly apps there is the original Google Play Store installed.
FakeGApps is a LSPosed module to bring signature spoofing to a ROM that doesn't support microG natively.

Thanks, somehow I didn't realize that before and thought they were the same. So I'll still keep FakeGApps with the new MicroG, once it's working.

There is the "full version" and the "OSS version" of the installer, the OSS version only have FakeStore while the full version allow to choose between PlayStore and FakeStore (PlayStore is the default).

The test version is the "full version", so if you don't want the PlayStore you have to use the live setup to disable it.

Thanks, I didn't understand about the full version and the "live setup." I pressed volume up right away when installing it, and it prompted for the install options. It's working now, so far.

I don't turn Location on very often, but I tested it with Cell Mapper, and it worked.

Insatalled full version on a Samsung Galaxy Tab GT-P5210 3 with LOS14.1 and got FCs on google play when trying to enter and also in package installer when trying to install any app. After another full wipe with clean install, went with the OSS version and got the same problem, FCs with package installer :(

The MicroG auto-check had everything thicked and in green in both attempts.
If you still have the problems please open an issue here: https://github.com/micro5k/microg-unofficial-installer/issues
with the logcat of the problem.

I've got ERROR 98: Failed to copy dir content from '/tmp/custom-setup-a5k/files/priv-app' to '/mnt/system/priv-app'

And I ended up in bootloop!

Can I undo it? Thanks.

New test builds.
They should fix all issues with the live setup plus the size on the system folder is reduced by installing only the required libraries.

EDIT: Links removed.

How2 uses " Android device profile generator" in v.1.3.1.5-alpha Installer.?
Thank you.
Sorry for the late reply but I was busy.

Despite "Android device profile generator" is in the changelog it isn't really located in the flashable zip file but it is located here: https://github.com/micro5k/microg-unofficial-installer/tree/main/utils

Since now it detects if the device is certified it now needs a database.
You just need to run dl-device-list.sh a single time to download and prepare the database (you can run it again to update the database if you want).
After that you can use profile-generator.sh every time you want.

New test build uploaded.

It contains new versions of FakeStore and GsfProxy compiled and signed by me with the latest changes from GitHub.
If you had an app that were nagging about old Play Store or missing Google Service Framework these changes will fix the problems.

Download:
This instlled the evill playstore. I'm not fast enough for your recovery key press thing. Can you please make fake store the default?

I installed to test the remember location feature. Is it broken or do i have to move around to get nlp location?

Hi,
to increase the time you can use:
Code:
adb shell "setprop zip.microg-unofficial-installer.LIVE_SETUP_TIMEOUT 9"
(it persist until reboot).

Location works fine for me, try to go in the microG settings and check if you have enabled the location options that you need.

How do you confirm network location works? All i can see is satellite based locatiin.

Is the time of microG installers over? I have better results with microG 0.2.28 as user app. Is Location now provided by a play services api instead of the old method with location providers registered in system (whats the main reason to make microG a system app)

Because I get it at home where GPS doesn't work, and also in the ROM there is an option to use only network position (called battery saving in the location options of the ROM, not in microG) and not GPS.
