There is a new Market Version available v201210220, can you update the mod pleas (this update uses less battery as stated on the Google Play).
Although I don't know how Google will lower battery consumption ( :D ), there is the new version in OP, enjoy!

As Google Calendar is free from market and will be updated regularly, i won't mod the AOSP version (290) anymore. Besides, I don't have it...

Probably they updated the sync algorithm time window, data required and online connects... but who knows ;)
Thanks for the update :good:

Market version not working...does not appear on app list..neither I can open it with shortcuts..
Maybe it is because you are on HTC X? I can't side check on other devices as I got only Galaxy Nexus and Nexus 7.
Have you correct busybox installed?

Are you able to install Calendar from market? Does it work?
There is no reason for me, why the modded calendar shouldn't work then.

Any other users with problems?

Yes, I can. It works...
But the old version, that you post before, before the update...was working!
Why this one stopped working?

That makes no sense... hm.
Try another flash? Did you change something between flashing v1 to v2?

Please provide more info. Have you full root access? Check permissions of CalendarGoogle.apk in /system/app please.

For me, makes no sense either..
I flashed the new CM10 nightly..
I have full root, checked the permissions, it's the same from the v1..
If I flash v1 it works, If I flash v2 it doesn't, and when I go back to v1 it get working again...
When I flash v2 and I go to system/app folder, the file is there and if I click it try to install but never end...

You must not click for install but check your permissions of the file! They must be rw-r--r--

I double checked everything and I have absolutely no clue what happens in your case. To be on the safe side, try following scenarios:

1.
- go to recovery, flash v2 again (maybe download again!)
- clear dalvik and cache, then advanced -> fix permissions
- reboot

or

2.
- uninstall calendar with titanium backup, be sure to remove update from market first!
- recovery, flash v1
- go to playstore, update - then uninstall update
- recovery, flash v2
- reboot

There is absolutely no reason why v1 works and v2 not if you flash correctly via CWM and correctly installed busybox in sbin. Otherwise I have no idea, sorry - the only thing would be, that v2 is incompatible with CM10 nightly for some reason, but as I changed only small portions of Calendar and use the original signature files, there shouldn't be any problem. Heard this the first time...

Is there any other user out there with the same problem as zopostyle?

Nothing... Tried both ways... permissions are rights as you specified..
Well, let's forget it...next update I try it again...

The newest update worked fine for me without even uninstalling the market version update which you recommend doing, rolling back to the older version. But I did clear cache and dalvik cache.

Can you make a version compatible with TWRP please? This is the best calendar available, the month view is amazing. Can't live without it!
