Hello Samsung Galaxy S duos (GT-S7562) users :)

Here i present you the transparency mods of status bar/notification background with two clean themes ;) :cool:



Note: At present its just for power saving mod. Dormant/Blocking mode will be there very soon(If i succeed, as currently i am working/trying for it). ;) But it can be flashed on both(powersaving and dormant/blocking mode). But in dormant mode, after flashing this powersaving mode, there will be no dormant mode button





Transparency with Samsung Stock Default Theme (Power Saving Mode)(Non-Dormant/Blocking Mode)
Can be flashed on both(powersaving and dormant/blocking mode). But in dormant mode, after flashing this powersaving mode, there will be no dormant mode button


For 25% Transparency

For 50% Transparency

For 75% Transparency

For 100% Transparency

Transparency with ICS Theme (Power Saving Mode)(Non-Dormant/Blocking Mode)
Can be flashed on both(powersaving and dormant/blocking mode). But in dormant mode, after flashing this powersaving mode, there will be no dormant mode button

For 50% Transparency

For 75% Transparency

For 100% Transparency
INSTRUCTIONS

  • Just flash in CWM Recovery :)
    [*](Before flashing, you should make backup, as if by chance something goes wrong ;))

You should make backup of your SystemUI.apk by using any root explorer before flashing it or you can make nandroid backup(as if by chance something goes wrong). ;)

If anything is there to ask or to request after flashing it, just go for it and post here. :)

NOTE: Guys having problems with status bar transparency, they can use my guide thread to make it yourself :good:

In this section:


1. In WORKING folder go to- SystemUI\res\values

2. Open drawables.xml using notepad++ and in this line:


Code:
<item type="drawable" name="status_bar_background">#[COLOR="Red"]xxxxxxxx[/COLOR]</item>
where 'xxxxxxxx' is some value.

Change xxxxxxxx to as per your need of transparency level:

00000000 - 100% transparency

3F000000 - 75% transparency

7F000000 - 50% transparency

BF000000 - 25% transparency

FF000000 - 0% transparent (No transparency)

Save it and close


3. And do the same with:

(a) SystemUI\res\values-sw600dp\drawables.xml

Save it and close

(b) SystemUI\res\values-sw800dp\drawables.xml


Code:

For translucent(25% Trancparency), change its value to '#BF000000'
For no transparency in status bar change its value to '#FF000000'

can i use this with stock rom with default theme.where can i get that file system ui.apk tell me the path. thanks

Yes you can use it with stock :)
Its nice ics theme you can try this :) :D
And you must read that 'Note' in my 1st post.
And if you will need something else in this , then just post here. :)

Use any root browser
Let its 'ES File Explorer'
Go to
/system/app/SystemUI.apk
And copy this 'SystemUI.apk' and save to your sd card or ext sd card anywhere you want to save/store it.
Just for the future use ;)

I will try this at night and tell u the result. Now I am on Mobile net.thanks for Ur work.can u make some theme like stock but with red look.and make a zip file theme and notification bar .both mods in one zip file.is it possible

If not then here you go...

COLLECTION OF THEMES FOR SAMSUNG GALAXY S DUOS (GT-S7562)

But just now there is no transparency mods with that themes....
Just wait for one day, and you will get your thing ;)
I am udating my all themes. :)

here it is my systemui.apk.it is from latest stock:).u want it na.i want 50% transparent.and red look system theme .thanks

EDIT: Dude this is latest stock systemui, means its dormant mode, so i need 'framework-res.apk' and 'twframework-res.apk' also then i will be able to make it for you

hey what if i want only the notification panel to be transparent...as the transparent status bar looks a litte ugly to me....:/
