How did you manage to partition to bauner's lollipop? I lost here. Really hope you can help. Thanks in advance.
Using these PIT files has nothing to do with any roms u use as what it does is repartitioning internal storage capacity. Since Bauner's is still in alpha stages, I'd recommend you complete the partitioning by using the PIT u want and a stock 4.1.2 firmware together in ODIN, reboot to stock recovery, do a factory wipe reset, boot into rom, format sd card when prompted, check your storage info, and off you go blasting any roms u want.

Many thanks for advice.

Thou the advice came in after I complete with success. (With lotsa trial and error) Really appreciate your explanation very much. Thanks. [emoji106]

I managed to get the partition magic working (flashing and flashing). Now its working with bauner 7.1 with 3.96gb. [emoji2]

Hi Jackwu,
Is it possible to use a philz kernel (odin version) along with pit file instead of full rom. Since this has been mentioned on op. But going through the thread I could not find any comments regarding kernel+pit file for partitioning.

Just I want to ensue, please.

Hai. Yes actually u can. Preferably choose the XXLTA vers. I prefer the whole rom way as to ensure the partitioning success. If I'm not mistaken, you should tick auto reboot off and when finished do the 3 button combo to enter recovery instead and do all the wipes there but I'm not really sure about the aftermath..

That is correct...I did it the same way for Bauner's 7.1
(Though ended of formatting the external SD erroneously...but, thats another story)

I am using your 8G PIT file.
I have CWM complaining about a security context error when I try to format the small preload partition.
What is the correct way to format preload?

Hi.

First thank you for the mod. :good:

It worked fine on my n7000 16gb. :cowboy:

Is there a way to increase in the same time the system partition and the data partition in a safety way.

- Add 2Gb for the data partition (as i did)
- Add 500 mo (maybe 1gb to be quiet) to the system partition

Hai. Yes I get that error too, but on CWM 6.0.4.5+. Using the earlier version works perfectly.

guys i am on cm11 4.4.4 nightlies and want to make partition of my note n7000(16gb) to 4gb app storage then which pit file should i use ? i've got confused after seeing 3 links of pit files for n7000 16 gb model . please help guys .
Choose any 4Gb Pit. If you're fixed on not ever going back to TW based rom, then feel free to flash the preload edition which further frees 500 MB of preload partition, But I personally use the non preload edition. The catch is, IF you should ever feel like selling your device and need too flash back to stock, then you will nedd to flash the stock PIT files edition again while if you stick with non preload, you can change roms anytime you want and flashing stock firmware will also be no problem.

Hello, I am very sorry but I did not understand your question. So you successfully flashed the 4GB PIT? what 500 MB more were you referring to?

i'm from pakistan, but there is no stock rom for me , so which rom i can uze so that prblm may not occur...???
help me plzzz, i'm much scared about this bcoz i hav nevr came across this
There can be issues, but if you are scared then I would not try it, this is for people with some experience and knowledge. I don't own one of these devices any more, so best to hope that a current user might be willing to guide you who has also upgraded in the same way as yourself.

I would use a kernel instead of a rom in .tar format, I would personally use Apollo kernel for the process and then just install your rom and kernel choices as normal afterwards.
