as soon as i am back for the weekend I will make it for you, i think I'll have to leave nominal partitions though, I would anticipate that the phone "might" be funny about it.@metalgearhathaway, can you create a 16GB data & 0B sdcard pit?
Edit:
just saw your post about creating PIT, if you're not making any more PITs, ill have a go at it myself,
otherwise, I'd appreciate it.
if by funny, you mean the ROM might be acting up because of no internal sd, then thats fine, but if there is a risk of any serious damage, 2 will do the trick.as soon as i am back for the weekend I will make it for you, i think I'll have to leave nominal partitions though, I would anticipate that the phone "might" be funny about it.
So at your risk I can do both or just one of the following:
1) Try allocating all memory after system partition that all should be data, no internal storage/internal sd card no preload either
2) Perform a regular pit where the internal memory storage and preload area's have a nominal 50mb allocated
Let me know before the weekend!
Hi I'm using this PIT http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=59305706. But I'm using nano PA GAPS. I've used this PIT with Nightowl GAPPS as well and it runs fine.Hey, im sorry if this question has been asked, but which pit file need i to download for using NightOwl Rom with PA's Gapps? I think i want to flash the stock google package? Again, sorry for any convenience.![]()

Sent from my GT-N7000 using XDA Free mobile app
You can flash the stock romNeed some help please.
I have CM11 on my N7000 and plan to move to CM12.1 and at the same time do the repartition.
(and of course factory reset and format whole system)
Obviously I already use custom kernel etc.
I don' think I can find latest Philz (or some Lollipop kernel) in .tar.md5 format.
Is there any alternative method to use or what?
Also never used Odin in Windows 8.1... hope there are no issues.
Next time just edit your first post, double posting makes things look untidy.I reflashed the stock ROM.. There I was prompted for formating the internal storage..
After formating the internal storage is shown as USB storage.
I again Re-partitioned using 6GB pit file and philz kernal and then flashed Bauner's CM12.1 Beta2 Kernel, ROM and Gapps..
However again it does not show internal storage.. therefore apps requiring internal storage (Titanium Backup / camera/ whatsapp) doesn't work.. Moving Apps to SD card shows insufficient space..
Somebody please help?
I reflashed the stock ROM.. There I was prompted for formating the internal storage..
As said by @AutumQueen92 . flash the stock rom with the pit first . then format internal sb card via the stock rom . then root the device . install a lolipop compatible custom recovery . and then flash nightowldone
I did all the above but still not working..I reflashed the stock ROM.. There I was prompted for formating the internal storage..
As said by @AutumQueen92 . flash the stock rom with the pit first . then format internal sb card via the stock rom . then root the device . install a lolipop compatible custom recovery . and then flash nightowldone
I have again flashed the Stock rom and formatted the internal sd.. It shows as USB storage..
Can I now directly partition using 6GB pit file and philz kernel..
Next I will flash CM12.1 Beta2 Kernel and then the ROM..
Thanks
Yes I did that..Next time just edit your first post, double posting makes things look untidy.
According to the thread, try flashing the PIT file with a stock ROM first. Did you do that?
EDIT: Got It ThanksRead what was written in the past: Flash Stock Rom and your 6GB Pit file. Reboot to Stock Rom and format sd card. Now flash korrect kernel for CM 12.1 and CM 12.1 Rom...
