Thank you! Thank you! THis is one the most anticipated posts!!! I cant believe it is not pinned! Literally you can double your phone speed with all the extra space and the nice internal zipalign! 5 stars!

I had some fun with this today... I tried to re partition and flash some different Philz Kernels with ODIN and all failed like a few posts above. Well... I rebooted it and forgot to push the Downloader combination and instead hopped into the kernel. Well... There still was the OMNI Kernel with TeamWin Recovery mode. I reloaded my Backup and rebooted. Works. ^^

Can someone verify these sizes?
/system (mmcblk0p9)
838.6 MB
/cache (mmcblk0p7)
196.8 MB
/efs (mmcblk0p1)
19.7 MB
/data (mmcblk0p10)
4031.7 MB
/storage/sdcard1 (emulated/fuse)
3777.2 MB

/storage/sdcard0 is not being shown in the app "Partition Table", but it's there seen in Advanced Mode.

/storage/sdcard0 (emulated/fuse)
9767.9 MB

@metalgearhathaway

You have done what I have heard was impossible. Repartition our phone in order to be able to use more applications and not have to link them to our SD cards. I lost track of how many times I have requested it and the reply was always the same: it can not be done!.

Well now I know it can :)

This post should definitely make it to the portal, as it completely changes my need to upgrade my existing phone to something with more application space. All ROMs should be using this mod in order to have everyone benefit from this.

By the way, I will wait for your 6GB partition file :), as I don't want to see in the near future "not enough memory" error :).

I tried it , but operation failed....attached images

Now phone lost Internal Storage when booted to CarbonROM 4.4.2......then format sd0 vfat and mounted it on CWM
As suggested by @nokiamodeln91 , I tried Philz LTA. Done! Reboobed to recovery and flashed Raw r4 (I need CWM instead TWRP) to restore my CarbonRom 4.4.2 backup. And I noticed that my internal SD files are still there on CWM. Restored done, reboob and never asked to format SD. All files on media storage (SD0) are still there.

done. But my cases is different. All data in Sdcard0 lost. - Need to format after the reboot. All files gone, luckily I have transferred them to PC.
I get myself Yellow Triangle, but removed using Triangle Away app.

Now I have 4Gb instead of 2Gb in the internal storage... My N7000's life is extended. Thank you very much @metalgearhathaway

is there any who was able to make a video of this? :p i know its fairly simple to do, but for newbs like me, there might be a little uncertainty at times. (e.g. which PIT file to use? i see 3 PIT files in OP), also for the kernel...what do you use if you want to restore a TWRP backup (Asylum)? can i use Philz kernel? --- but isnt it a CWM kernel and wont be able to restore TWRP backup? (is this correct?)

[email protected] screenshot... After you done...reboob to recovery. You need to flash raw r5 for TWRP or Asylum kernel then reboob to recovery to restore. And then mostly likely when boot u need to format sdcard0.

No need to complain that "you're unlucky and lost data". Just read what is written in red colour in the first post...
If you had a closer look at the posted partition table in the screenshot, you would clearly see that "storage/sdcard0" does not show up....
Dear AA, you are right. I felt lucky because I read the contents in the first post and copied all files to my PC before doing this via Odin. Otherwise I might have fainted with the data lost episode. I felt lucky with all wonderful people in this forum for give extra life to our beloved N7000. To conclude, still feeling lucky. TGIF. Have a nice weekend. Thanks again @metalgearhathaway :)

just a quick question....i was about to add the raw kernel in the PDA field (in Odin), but the raw kernel was in .zip format. where can i get a TWRP raw kernel that is .tar or .md5 format? or am i misunderstanding the directions?
