[MOD I9505] CRT-OFF animation TW 4.3 DEODEX ROMS, MJ7/MJ9/MK8/MK9/MKE/MKF/ML1

ONLY FOR I9505 4.3 DEODEX ROMS​

* Credits: first big thanks to user raffaele88 to port this effects on android 4.3. I have taken smali that command mod and used to make mod working fine for another fw base.

* What do this mod?
- fixed, no random reboots
- work with deodex roms, if you have custom rom like omega or another be sure to not have another mod that work with services.jar file, to not have some issue
- add 2 lines in your bluid.prop:

• persist.sys.screen_on=none
• persist.sys.screen_off=crt

- replace your services.jar (located in system/framework, where is build this mod)

- I9505 XXUEMKE: CRT off MKE DEODEX fixed by BluMak TEAM
- I9505 XXUEMKF: CRT off MKF DEODEX fixed by BluMak TEAM
- I9505 XXUEML1: CRT off ML1, thanks @nmeuret
- I9505 XXUEML6: CRT off ML6, thanks @nmeuret

* Instructions:
- remember to do a nandroid backup before to try any mod
- download mod for your fw base
- flash through recovery (i tested only with cwm recovery's, not with twrp)

* If someone have some request ask here in thread, as soon as possible we will try to fulfill the demands

* To enable fade effect:

Well actualy the MOD already contains the Fade effect, only the values of the build.prop change.

You can set them manualy or use XBlast Xposed module to change the effect.

I also made some small scripts to change the effect with this MOD :

- Set CRT-OFF effect,
- Set Fade Out Effect,
- Disable all effects.

It is in fact it is the same script without the service.jar file and modified prop values.

* How to:

1) have a minimum knowledge of modding and decompiling
3) use this tool to decompile/compile your jar files: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1582468
2) take services.jar of your deodex rom and decompile it
3) download this smali DisplayPowerController.smali and replace original inside "\classout\com\android\server\power"
4) compile, and put new class.dex inside your services.jar (open it with program like 7zip and drag inside class.dex, than close 7zip)
5) use one zip like this (CRT off test for 4.3 firmware.zip) to try your mod. Of course, put your services.jar inside framework folder of this zip
6) inside zip you also found propvalues file, where is located the second part of mod. If you open this file with notepad++ you will see 2 strings:

• persist.sys.screen_on=none
• persist.sys.screen_off=crt

Not touch this, is all ready, only make mod with services.
7) remember to do a nandroid backup before try everything

I don't know, it depends by mods inside services.jar. Make nandroid and try, i think should work without problems
