@Conito11
Tell me what exactly you want and I will make the mod for you.
But if you want it louder you can damage the speaker and it will be your fault,
this is earpiece not loudspeaker, and I will take no blame on that.

@All
My file is for TW only, AOSP-CM etc use the antonymilo's file, else will have issues.
Exynos i9500 use different configuration files, as they use different hardware

Also my file overwrites your sound volume mods.
Everything gets to stock except line-out which is modded for usage on amplifiers (car stereo, hifi etc)
using headphones it is louder than stock but not too much to harm amp inputs .

you did something wrong, ie. you put TW file on non TW rom, or you did not set the correct permissions.

if you cannot see your filesystem, restore from backup only the system partition.
provided it is the same system you are using, all apps and data will not be affected

Thank's for your reply :)
I did not know that it is possible to restore system files only...

But I had to restore the whole backup, because it was an older version of PhoeniX ROM.
After that i had nothing to loose any further, so i began to try different methods...after 4 bootloops this solution worked for me (on PhoeniX ROM V10.2):
1. copy your file (BTW thanks for that  ) to the folder and set permissions
2. copy the file from the ORIGINAL thread to the folder and set permissions

for TW rom you don't need both files, but also it will not harm either.

everything works now and that is the important ;)

Quick update

Positive 1:
My choice of volumes are nice when you watch / listen something in landscape.
If front and back were at same volume one ear would hear louder as one is front and the other on back

Positive 2:
The sound seems better as high frequencies are not muffled like from the back speaker
when the phone sits on table, or whenever you see it in portrait.

Negative 1,2,3...
realy REALLY not recommended for usage in landscape videos/music.
Some frequencies are louder in one and other frequencies are louder on the other speaker ,
with the combination of front-back firing speakers canceling out some frequencies
the listening experience is terrible.

Last night I attempted to test it with a movie. The "surround" effect made me dizzy
so I had to cover the front speaker with my finger in order to watch it without headache.

The verdict
So... Nice mod by means of innovation. I always tried to do funky stuff since my siemens s45.
But this specific mod is going to be reverted to stock in my phone.

Merry Christmas!

Are you on stock 4.4.2? If yes, can you post the files to revert? Please?

Thanks mate

No, mine is not stock.
The easier way to get your original files (from every rom) is to
open the cwm-romfile (the one you download to install rom from recovery) with 7z/winrar and get the files you like.

if you want my file (which may have some altered values) to just revert this mod, is attached bellow

I just tested it on my gt i9505 on the cm13 based resurrection remix rom.
But after that I got stuck in a bootloop.
But then I read something about setting the right permissions.

What does that mean?
Am I even able to install this mod in Android 6.0.1?

Please be forgiving - this is my first post/reply on XDA and I'm kind of a beginner.

I didn't see anything in the OP about permissions, just reboot if you got a loop.

Set perms as follows:
chmod 644
chown 0:0

Done. You can even do it in twrp.

Thank you very much ROBCORE (& sshafranko & antonymilo), I got it. :good:
The sound is incredible now. :victory:
I love it[emoji14]
I'll explain it for those, who still couldn't figure it out.
Here is what I did:

-get Root Explorer (ES File Explorer probably works too)
-download the file in the description
-put it in the folder "system/etc/snd_soc_msm" (save the old first, then overwrite it)
-long press the new file
-enter permissions in the menu
-click "octal" and enter the number "0644"
-restart and done :fingers-crossed:

(owner needs to be "0 - root" regarding owner and group - was already set by default)

I hope everybody is able to enjoy this amazing "feature"! :highfive:

->
I need to correct myself. It's not perfect. Sometimes it constantly changes the volume. For example if you listen to a podcast, the frontspeaker plays the voice relatively quiet. But when nobody is talking, the background noise gets suddenly very loud.
Now I switched back to " only main speaker" :(

Yeah I tried it out, and while it was a neat idea, I went back to stock for consistency purposes as well.
