mm sorry mate.. not very cool..

i have lost reboot & reboot CWM option , also i have no more AOSP lockscreen. but the idea is great, keep working on this
If you know how to put reboot options and AOSP lockscreen yourself, I'm sure it's fixable. I edited only the images by the way, so I don't understand how anything else can be lost.

Maybe you haven't been here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=32527660#post32527660
If you installed my framework, then yes you will lose those stuffs, 'cause I didn't have them . So you should edit your own (the one with the reboots and the lockscreen). Good luck

if it bricked your phone your are allone responsibe as this ISNT made for ur phone. this isnt a apk which is maode for many phones -_- better u read nxt time bit deeper in thread (or search google), before performig this. framework-res is a risky thing it must be built for phone/fw especially else = bootloop. so its your fault

i hope u have CWM/ or other recovery u can acess on boot (i dunno how access recovery in ur phone) if u get there connect phone with pc and transfer a rom zip FOR UR PHONE and flash. or better think for a backup nxt time when u try to flash things that will give u 99.99999% bootloop:p but even better than all is power on brain when ur in dev fora.

Xolo huh? This is xperia territory bro, so good luck with that! However *if*(I doubt it) you mean you're using xolo splash on startup on one of the xperia phones to which this thread is dedicated, then you're in a bootloop cause you applied wrong permissions.

Edit: Oh you mentioned using xolo 700. My bad

I'm not blaming you brother. I know I'm only responsible. I don't think we have forums for XOLO phones. I've applied many tweaks and they worked fine before.

I found update.zip file of size more than 300 MB in xolo official site. I could start my phone into recovery mode. And can I use the option 'Update from SD card' and select update.zip? Will it work.

Is there any other ways?

Someone in other thread posted recovery image file. How can I use that file to unbrick my phone.

I'm relatively new to these things. Please guide me. I've created a separate thread but I couldn't see any response.

Kindly help me friends.

Thanks

okay :) yes okay , dont take it bad bro :) and it dunno about xolo phones as ur right xda has no forum for it & this phone isnt even known in europe :silly:... but juast as suggestions maybe there some forums from ur country which take about xolo phones, if not i would advice u to look for a phone that has quite same chipset (google it) and on the other side a same display ration :good: that would be the right place to make experiments :D

look to unbrick we have 2 ways: a) when only THIS framework mod is responible for bootloop (what i think if u not flashed other things that cause probs) U HAVE TO ONLY flash ur old framework-res.apk find it in your rom zip in system/framework, u need to make a flashable zip for it thats the tricky thing, u can try a tut by me, find it in my animations thread. i f u do this all will be like bfore :good:

and yes to question, in recovery go to install zip or choose update zip from sd card, and flash it. it will give u a output.

b) if above not work u better do a fresh install, with our update.zip, but make sure its EXACTLY for ur phone ;) for fresh install wipe dalvik when u can, and install the zip, wait long boot,,, ONE INFO u not have to wipe /data as i would delete all user data. but if its not booting up after install rom zip u probably have to, so then when nothin works wipe all u can find (but NOT /system AND /batterystats) then install the update zip.

forget recovery image file, thats sth not yet important what u need is a working ROM (system) NOT a new/kernel or recovery else...

also just a tip: read some bit in general forum, as u will get some knowlegde abut android how-to; so u have less probs; also pls do a backup via recovery every week or even more :), so when sth went wrong u can simply restore, believe me a backup is a rooted phones best friend :D

Make sure the update.zip is for your phone. Check build.prop. If your phone is written there, then I'm pretty sure it really is for your phone, considering that its on xolo website. Or to make it simpler and convenient, open the update.zip and remove all files except the 'framework-res.apk' file, then flash the zip. This way it will replace the 'bad' framework with xolo 700 framework and no data will be lost.

Thanks a lot friend.

ramework-res.apk is only responsible for this problem. By God grace I've taken back up of stock ramework-res.apk. Don't mind otherwise, I will attach my ramework-res.apk file here and is it possible for you to make it flashable. I'm not used to these things so asking you.

It would be great help if you make it flashable.
