Thanks a lot friend.

ramework-res.apk is only responsible for this problem. By God grace I've taken back up of stock ramework-res.apk. Don't mind otherwise, I will attach my ramework-res.apk file here and is it possible for you to make it flashable. I'm not used to these things so asking you.

It would be great help if you make it flashable.
i will make u a flashable zip, no prob bro, but cant promise it will flash as i cant test it on ur phone >.'< :D

(if it will not flash, i know a fix so dant worry, just send me ur framework-res )

Make sure the update.zip is for your phone. Check build.prop. If your phone is written there, then I'm pretty sure it really is for your phone, considering that its on xolo website. Or to make it simpler and convenient, open the update.zip and remove all files except the 'framework-res.apk' file, then flash the zip. This way it will replace the 'bad' framework with xolo 700 framework and no data will be lost.

Great tip. Shall I do the following

1. Download upload.zip
2. Unzip to to upload folder.
3. Delete all the files except ramework-res.apk file.
4. Zip the upload folder
5. Copy to SD card root folder.
6. Start mobile into recovery
7. Select Update from SD Card option
8. Explore to SD card update.zip file and flash it

Am I correct brother? Or Am I missing thing?

In the zip included in this mod, which you have downloaded, replace the framework-res.apk with your original framework-res.apk and flash it.

Oh God, I've inserted that SD card (which have framework ask) into some old phone and I couldn't able to send that file to my PC. Please give me time. If not today, I will upload it tomorrow. Sorry for delay.

I'm happy to be part of XDA family just because of you!

This is just a MOD. (I will be releasing a fully featured ROM if I have time )

This is my original idea, so if you feel its worthy to be used in ROM development, thank me later for this :p.

HOW TO INSTALL:
Backup your current /system/framework/framework-res.apk
First copy the downloaded framework-res.apk to /system.
Change its permissions to 644 (rw-r--r--).
Move it to /system/framework/ allowing to replace the present framework-res.apk
Reboot!

.587 framework is zipped 'cause its too big. Extract it first and follow the same installation procedure
Please can you mod for neo v hdpi?

sent from my xperia neo v using xda prenium hd

Which zip did you use as template? The update.zip in xolo website or the zip included in this thread?

I've taken some template from one of the forums. I think you didn't provide me any template in this thread. Am I missing anything?

I didn't download anything from XOLO website as no software dowwnload links are given for XOLO B700. I don't want to take risk anymore.

Try using the zip with the xperia framework which you have downloaded from the first post of this thread (the one with which you flashed and killed your phone in the first place). Open that zip, and replace the framework-res.apk with your own framework-res.apk. That should work.

Thanks for your suggestion. However, I think first post is just a zip file of apk. It doesn't have correct folder structure. I've flashed that apk by replacing the existing framework-res.apk with the apk given first post. As my phone is now soft bricked, I cannot access file system to replace it.

Pls. suggest

Yes, exactly, which is why you should try it. You killed your phone by flashing the zip in this thread which contains only the framework. Your phone soft-bricked or bootlooped because of invalid framework only, and not the entire filesystem. So if you use this method you will get ur phone exactly as it was before it bootlooped. Even your data will not be lost.
By 'replacing the framework' I mean replacing the framework 'within the zip' NOT on your softbricked phone but on your pc.

Thanks, I got you. But how can I replace it. Sorry, I couldn't understand.

If I add stock framework-res.apk to zip file and flash from android system recovery, I don't think it will work as it will look for other dependencies. In fact, I tried this way.

Brother, if you don't mind, please give step by step instructions. I'm just a kind in this area.

So, I got the idea. Replace corrupted apk with correct apk. How can I do it. To do so, I need to place the apk file in right place with in the package of folders and I have to zip it and then flash it. I have taken that template from the thread Ive given above, but it didn't work

Use winrar or 7zip on pc to open the 'corrupted for you' zip. Within winrar navigate to the folder containing the framework-res.apk. There will be the corrupted apk. Delete it. Drag the correct framework-res.apk to the winrar window. Your correct framework will now be there in the corrupt framework's place. Close winrar. Your zip is updated. Now flash it. let me know if you need to know more.

which zip file I should open on PC. That is my question. Please note that I didnt flash a zip file which bricked my phone. I that is the case whatever you said can be done. I've manually replaced the file.

In other words, I only have apk file not flashable zip file

Oh now I got you. It was in other threads that I put flashable zips. Sorry. Use this zip:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1385578&d=1349715313
And put your framework-res.apk like I said, with the same folder structure.
OR you can use any flashable zip that has worked on your phone but this time keep the framework-res.apk in it and in the same folder structure.
