Yes, it should work(except xNXT rom, you have to sign the apk's to make this mod work on it)is it work for xperia MDPI devices

Its a hdpi framework that's y this is common. U need to mod it to fit on a mdpi device.

Ya it will work on mdpi but its a hdpi framework so to fit on mdpi u need to edit some xml files in values folder

I don't know whether there's a bug in this Framework or the ROM I am using (Zelly Cream 3.1), once the framework installed, I am unable to pin/password protect my Ray via security settings. It causes the phone to bootloop.

Strange, it's working fine with some and don't work with some. Actually I don't have any MDPI phone, so it's hard to know the reason of not working.I never use a custom rom im using stock ics .587

Too many tutorials are available in this forum about how to deodex any rom. Please use search option.

I have found the reason of bootlooping. You need a DEODEXED ROM for this framework to work. So, deodex your rom first then try this.
