I used the 50% increase which is great now I can actually hear my alarm. Think it might be a little loud. Not knowing the speaks threshold. Might knock it back to the 30%.

Only question would be does this effect the earphone jack output also.? I would assume so but haven't had chance to try it with ear puds or my desk speakers.

ah yes the cm10.2 version i made. if i could stand running cm10.2 or any cm for longer then a hr id update that thread. lol but i just have way to many issues with cm not being 100% functional. mainly the camera. i dont see how they can label something stable when if you use any app that required ffc you get a reboot and sometimes data loss. last time i tired i almost bricked. i lost all data including recovery. took me hrs to get phone functional again. we have 4.3 official now im happy. 4.4 is around the corner.

Hey Kaos, thanks so much for the audio hack! I was wondering, do you have any idea how I might go about reducing the increase/decrease steps in my volume control? That is, when I use my volume buttons on my phone, I'd like there to be more steps between max and min for better fine-tuning.

I don't suppose that's still in your wheelhouse, is it?

Thanks again,
-Zen

You could try a xposed module. There's on for 30 step volume

If anybody would like a hack for 4.4.2 aosp ROMs I can post one... Sound was way to low and had to do this fix for slim, should work on any aosp ROMs
