[MOD]-Jaguaralani ICS-SAMSUNG KB with RTL Support for Non RTL ICS ROMs

This is my modified original Samsung Keyboard after adding RTL support, to be used with non RTL-Supporting ICS ROMs.

DOWNLOAD
Jaguaralani ARABIZED SAMSUNG KEYBOARD
or
Jaguaralani ARABIZED SAMSUNG KEYBOARD

METHOD
Download
Unzip to get the folders below

Use Root Explorer
Copy All Files to their corresponding folders
Set Permissions as in the photo below

Restart



OR DOWNLOAD A FLASHABLE ZIP - INSTALL VIA CWM (THANKS TO Teflanzy)
Jaguaralani_Keyboard_arabic_Samsung_N7000.zip



Don't forget to hit THANKS BUTTON...........

Great work, thank you for the effort.

Please note that when choosing the RTL language (Arabic in my case), long pressing the letter do not show the other characters, for example, long pressing the (.) character do not show the (?) ... etc.

I hope you can sort out this issue, keep up the good work.

With netcore kernal ver 12.5
Please help me i've changed to hacker keyboard
And i install jaguaralani using Cmw

but just remember , ICS supports RTL by default so you don't have to tinker with that ,you just need to install the Arabic keyboard and you're good to go :good:

1-Never tried it on official ROMs
2-Haven't tested the flashable zip ( wasn't made by me )

You have to clear the data of the samsung keyboard
Go to Settings--->Applications---> All---> Samsung Keyboard--->Clear data

Then test it again

I have tested it again and it is working for me

Try to delete cache and dilvik cache from recovery and test it again?

I have uploaded the original arabic Swype keyboard

شكرا جزيلا عمل رائع كنت انتظره منذ شهور
ولكن فيه مشكلة الضغط المطول لاظهار الحرف الثاني لا يظهر مثل ما ذكر في أول المشاركات ولكن فقط مع اللغة العربية مع اللغة الانكليزي يعمل بشكل طبيعي ارجو ان تحل هذه المشكلة بلا أمر مع جزيل الشكر.

i have a question concerning arabic alignment, is there any fix for this, i don't have problems with the keyboard, just arabic font doesn't show correctly from right to left and sometimes letters are separated from each other, as far as i know ICS shouldn't have this problem, or is there any fix for that ?

You are right, ICS shouldn't have this problem, and I've tried many ROMs, both TW and AOSP based and all of them support Arabic correctly, have you changed the font?
If yes then this could be the problem.

i haven't changed it
but how do i change the arabic font ? maybe if i used another font it will display correctly.
