Lost Stck Phone.apk

I have a rooted S3 with stock 4.3 and I "accidentally" deleted the stock phone.apk using Titanium. I don't like the look of the diallers on Play Store. If I flash this - will it be OK? Meaning I don't have a Phone.apk installed . . I was thinking that yours just overwrites the original . .

Please advise . . I am not that "technical"

Worked like a dream - Many thanks - and got my "Phone" back including recording . .
The reason I "lost" my old .apk was because I was trying find out why I have lost the option for choosing to dial through "Phone" or "Skype" . . I had this option before I flashed this updated 4.3 ROM. I have checked everything out and the options on Phone and Skype for setting default options are greyed out.
Any ideas ??

Many thanks again . .

Why asking this?
Make a nandroid and try.
If it's not working put back the nandroid and thats it.
Takes a few minutes from your life.

Oke, I am sorry didn't mean it to flame.
You can try it without any risk.
Tip:
Make a nandroid before you do anything with the system, so you always can go back.

doesn t work on 4.4.2 s3
Good morning,
i've done some tests, the install zip sometimes doesn't write the files on the target folders (app and priv-app) in this case you can manually copy the file from del unpacked zip directly to folders with a root enabled file explorer (i use ES File Manager), be sure to correctly set the permissions after copy and clear cache and Dalvik cache in recovery.

I hope this will help.

Is it possible to create an xposed module for the same. There are many for manual call recorder, but I couldn't find any for auto call recorder. Is it possible to port this into xposed module?

Any thoughts about creating an xposed module with all your tweaks in it? ??

problems with private number.

Hi, thank you for all the effort I enjoy using this mod for a while now.

I'm using the Version with removed top banners(green/red) (XXUGMK6) - v2.2 (auto record out and in with record button removed).

I've noticed that recorded calls aren't saved when I'm receiving a call from a private number (meaning caller id is blocked) and often it caused the phone process to crash forcing me to reboot. It's not that big an issue for me but I thought I'd let you know.

I've also noticed (not sure if its a bug) yesterday that while recording even though the microphone was muted the recording picked up sounds from it (regular earphones were plugged in, not sure its related).
