Just a quick update to confirm this does work on MB1. The AnyCut PRL Write shortcut won't though, it kept giving me an error. It would open for a quick second then close right away. I had to go in through the dialer and use ##DATA# and do it that way. Thanks digiblur.

I could never get that one to work on the Note2. I guess the fixed it on the S3 now.

Not having luck with this on MB1. Still showing the same PRL. Tried disabling all data and trying again. Still no go.

Any ideas?
I had to load a PRL the other day and it took me 8 times or so in a row. That function is buggy buggy.

What's buggy about the option showing up now?

Haven't tried it yet myself. I was actually going off your previous post that said it took 8 times to get it to work!

Update: I went ahead and tried it. PRL Write is now showing up in the menu. Tried to write the verizon (001) prl 4 times and it wouldn't stick. Not sure whats going on but on the previous firmware it worked the 1st time every time...

did you actually try changing the PRL? The fix worked for me as well (to show the menu item again) - but it won't write the PRL....
yea i been trying out 00001 , 01337 prl. im gettin so much faster data speed than my sprint.... actually dl 500k and ul 600 to 800kb... its not that fast but it beats hella 100k or less from sprint, lol

make sure u do the followings before write prl.... either update prl once from system update then proceed to prl write. or turn off wifi and data off before u proceed to prl write

u can then verify the result by going back to about and see if ur prl # has been changed.

thanks. seems like turning off the wifi/data did the trick. after turning those off the prl (0001) wrote the first time. This is strange cause on the previous ROMs I didn't have to do this... oh well, at least its working again!

i know...alot of these stuff are YMMV. i didnt even know this thread existed and was searching for ways to get msl, anycut, verizon prl from all kinds of sources and picked up bit of info here and there and finally made it to this thread and it just worked.

hot damm. i just got upload speed of 1mb off 01337. suck that sprint! lol

be careful to stay under 300MB/month on that verizon PRL or sprint might boot you (unless that is what you want!)

Updated with MB1 APK even though the other one was reported as working. Could someone please test this one to make sure it works? I do not have an S3 to test this on so I have to work in the blind. As always...nandroid backup first.

Please try dialing ##DEBUG# too and make sure the code prompt doesn't come up. Thanks.

It's also dicking over the company in a massive transition time for them. Keep screwing with them and they'll cancel your line.

Personally, I think changing your PRL to the roaming one is just blackhearted. You are literally cheating. Rooting and roming your phone is one thing. Raping your carrier because you don't think you have good enough data speeds is another. If you want to be on Verizon's network so badly, then switch over. Don't screw Sprint over, especially when you knew what you were getting into switching to the Never Now Network.
