Google made a drastic move and now, since March build, framework-res.apk can't be decompiled...it can't even be installed in order to be decompiled. The behavior is the exact same as on 12 L and 13.

This means that, until Apktool gets updated I can't do anything in order to update the FULL module version to March build.

I've opened an issue on Apktool GitHub project back when 12 L Beta came. They are already aware of this.

Until then I'll just keep using February build.

Random question but if I were to disable this module in magisk manager and reenable it in the future, would it wipe the dialer and ASI again? I'm basically trying to disable it temporarily for now so I can use the march update and will reenable it later when there's a fix so the module can work with it

Disable and reenable won't clear anything. It will only if you remove and install it again. The "clearing" part is on the flashing script.

New to this mod and about to upgrade from A11 to A12. Am I reading this correctly? If I want to use the full mod, I should flash the Feb 2022 factory image, not March?

Also, can I use a custom kernel with this mod or is stock kernel mandatory?

Any kernel is fine.
Don't install march update, or you will have to use lite.

Is there any way this could enable the Window Blurs feature on Pixel 5 so we can get the frosted glass UI features? Either via making the "Settings -> System -> Developer options -> Hardware accelerated rendering -> Allow window-level blurs" option available, or by having "resetprop ro.surface_flinger. supports_background_blur 1" actually enable the blur.

This is amazing. Thank you! This has a lot of the GravityBox functionality without needing LSPosed.

Reverse Nav bar, clock customization, battery bar, and more are all great.

Where are the settings stored? It would be good to have a settings backup mechanism in the app.

Hello!

Like I've already talked about, Google, on Android 12 March build, has made a drastic move. They've decided to silently move to Android 12L or 12.1 or whatever Google has decide to name it...point is, Android 12 has moved from API 31 to 32.

And what does this mean? It means that the Addon Features "FULL version" is not compatible anymore even on newer Pixels.

For the time being framework-res.apk can't be decompiled...it can't even be installed in order to be decompiled. This means that, until Apktool gets updated I can't do anything in order to update the FULL module version to March build.

On the other hand, and since this happened, I think I'm going to drop this module logic, as it is, and move to a new one where all "exclusive features" will be based on xposed hooks (it works with Lsposed zygisk version). @siavash79 has already started to work on it and there's already some test versions available.

You may test them it if you want to.

Also, you can flash LITE Addon Features version module zip along side those test versions...that's my current setup while running March build on my Pixel 4a.

Interesting news. It makes sense given the type of features and tweaks you're deploying through System UI. This is the strategy deployed by @C3C076 with GravityBox for many years. It always required XPosed/LSposed. Since development there has ceased, I'm curious if you could or would merge the two projects since your module has some of the same tweaks.

Was wondering if there's a way to remove some of the padding on the statusbar icons from the edge.

On my Pixel 6 Pro, the icons are just too far in the screen.
I get they were trying to stay away from the curve but you can fit one whole icon in between the space between the curve and the icon!

Hello, normal v21 leads to constant bootloop on xperia 1 ii stock rom android 12 January patch, adb commands didn't help but the tips about safe mode (disabling all magisk modules) helped a lot, I flashed and used the Lite version before reading all the thread, disabled and deleted it through magisk, flashed normal v21, IDK if that was the cause of my bootlooping, any help or other tips would be welcomed, thank you for your time and the module

Some features are still in the phone even after removing the module in magisk, like system ui tuner in settings, the wifi/data toggles still exist separately, the possibility to record calls in dialer still present for example

I am very interested in this addon as i am planning to move to A12 ( non pixel device with AOSP custom rom PixelOS )
Gravitybox is not supported in A12 and the mods here are similare and crucial to me.
May i ask what are the exact features currently present in LITE version , i also have lsposed zygisk where i am running some modules including gravitybox, Is the intention to add xposed support is only for stock Pixel devices or will it include any AOSP rom as well ?
Last Q please, Do the Lite or xposed test version have nav bar buttons controls for hold action per button ( a very crucial customization that i use in GB )
