Ah ok, I only use the dark theme so that would explain why I don't see anything. I appreciate the explanation.Well, stock Android 12 doesn't have a complete "light" QS panel, nor "light" power menu, while on "light" theme. This mod adds those features. They were ported from ProtonAOSP based on the awesome work by @kdrag0n .
You may check those changes on these posts:

Something I noticed since installing this. I have Always on Display turned on and all of the wake options turned off (lift to wake, wake on notification, etc). Previously this would have the phone go to the dark screen with the clock and minimal notification if present. Now it goes to a completely black screen that changes to the normal AoD screen when I lift my phone. This happens when I let it timeout or when I press the power button. After I lift the phone and it wakes the screen I can unlock like normal but if I'm not fast enough the screen will go black again and I have to press the power button to wake the screen and it skips the AoD screen this time.
I confirmed settings were still on like before. Any thoughts on that?
Found it. Somehow even though the toggle for AoD was on it wasn't being respected. I removed the mods and the behavior stayed. I put them back, toggled it off and had the behavior I explained earlier. Turned it back on and it started working again properly. Maybe the system ui refresh when I removed the nav bar caused it to have a hiccup. Either way, it's working now.
Well, I don't know. It's like that on source side. I guess the dev who made that mod decided to not show the date twice on QS when the date is already enabled on the clock...
Oh ok makes sense then and yes it worked. I followed the instructions you had posted.
Cool. I was worried I could have missed something since Pixel 6 SystemUI is different from the others and smali editing is not an easy nor straightforward task.
Yes album art and visualizer works as intended
