Yeah I think that's what's up. I enabled Google voice and it popped right up for me, but I'd rather stick with the setup I had so I took it off.

But for anyone wanting to, that's probably how you get there is through activating it on Google voice

Anyone else have this not working on 5.1.0?

US firmware updated, so I did an ruu, clean flash of the non-magisk version of the rom. The module says it's installed, but on reboot the old phone is the only thing there. Have tried this twice now. I'm doing a twrp backup of the device and then trying a titanium backup restore of the two apks and seeing if that will work

Edit: Looked in the magisk folder in root and I don't see anything installed, so it doesn't seem like it's even flashing it, even though in magisk it says installation succeeded and prompts me to reboot.

Used the afuller method from a couple pages back (but with both contacts and dialer), seems to be working now

I'm on Viper 5.3 with Verizon mm firmware, Magick 11.1,and most current GPS from the Magisk repo. With the new version of Google Voice, I can't get the GPS dialer to recognize Voice as the voice mail provider. It only lists "My Carrier". I've got all permissions enabled on dialer and Voice as well as setting the dialer as the phone app, so everything is working just fine.

Anyone figured this one out?

Any chance to update to the new version of the phone apk? It loads, and mostly works, but I can't switch back to a call from the status bar or the phone app if I switch apps. Also it updates business info in the status bar but not on the call screen.

Thanks!

Unzip the mod, and replace the apks. Make sure you rename the new apks. Rezip, and install.

Just seen this module.
Would definitely prefer it to the sense stock dialer.
Would it work on my HTC One M9?
I have Magisk 11.1, Magisk SU
Are there any known issues with the mod?

rom: Viper 6.0.0

So, I love this mod and can't live without it since I hate the HTC phone app. I just updated to Nougat on my European unlocked HTC 10 and now I have a weird bug on the phone app.

Whenever someone calls me there's no screen to pick up or reject the call. The phone rings but nothing else happens. If I enter the app, I get the option to get back to call screen. If I choose it, it just goes back to the home screen.

Also, when I call someone, same thing happens. I tap the person I want to call and it's like nothing happens but it starts ringing. However, I cannot hang up the call or do anything else with it.

I tried 2.2.4 directly from the Magisk app and what @TotallyAnxious shared. Same thing happens.

Any idea? I would hate to get back to the HTC phone app :(
@jsaxon2

--EDIT--

Fixed it by following advice found a few pages back. Set it as the default phone app and it fixed it. Thanks to whoever mentioned that! And thanks @jsaxon2

Can u link the comment that helped you choose the default calling app? I have the same issue

Edit:
Found it.
Go to app info for the phone app and set as default phone app. Fixed it for me.
That worked thanks.
