Installed your magisk module all seems good. Is there anyway to get call recording set up on this? Thanks

Anyone got a Google dialer and Contacts Zip for Nougat that doesn't require Magisk?

Thanks.
I'm using this phone app.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3557412
And after I get everything set up it look good, I've set it up as default calling app, I've set also system permissions and for the moment it works OK. I like the stock one but they break up the option to choose from regular mobile calling and SIP internet calling, even if is setup to ask everytime. One my other phone (m8s) from the moment they updated to 6.0 this option disappear, and it looks like on M10 is same, even now on 7.0.

Can anyone explain what I can get more in case of setup over the one with magisk?

Hey jsaxon2, hope you don't mind me doing this. Since your module hasn't been updated yet for the newer tagging format for Magisk 12, it doesn't show up in the downloads section anymore. I really appreciate your work and look forward to any future updates.

For anyone else who wants to flash it manually (I can vouch it still works perfectly with Magisk 12), here's the zip file from the repo that you can flash in recovery. In case you already have Magisk 12 and can't find this anymore.

Attached. This is the same exact file for the latest version downloaded straight from the repo. All credits to jsaxon2. It's just renamed with [MAGISK] in front of the file name cause that's how I name all my modules before I put them on my ext SD card to keep all my flash/apk/ROM files organized on my card. =)

Well the naming system to is used to imply all the other magisk files have been updated via the template :p not just the number.

And @TotallyAnxious has made 2.2.5 which has newer dialer and contact than 2.2.4. I've been using it since it's out and have had no issue. You might consider updating both apps.
Also, after flashed v2.2.5(which contains google dialer 8.0.147081443), there's a newer updatable dialer in play store which is 8.0.148481159.

I have update the module. I need someone to test it out before I push changes to be downloaded in Magisk App. I'm running LOS so I can't test currently. Please test it out and let me know if there are any problems.

Changelog
v3.0.0
- Update to new Magisk template to work with Magisk v12+
- Update Dialer to v8.0.148481159
- Update Contacts to v1.7.6

Thanks for testing, I'll look at it. I must have missed something stupid...

I had a couple of quick questions.
I've installed this on my phone running Viper. When I select sort by last name in the phone app, it seems to work. When I select sort by last name in the contact app, it always sorts by first name. Is this typical?

Also, I don't recall seeing a custom listing that only includes one google account. Is that built in?

Thanks!

Whoops, sorry, haven't checked XDA at all since my last post. Looks like I missed a bunch of progress.

Anyway, test 3 does indeed seem to be working perfectly for me.

HTC 10 US Unlocked, AT&T, Viper10 ROM, EX Kernel, Magisk12.

Thanks!!

edit: @alershka, sorting by last name works perfectly fine for me. Did you make sure your contacts actually have the first and last names stored in separate fields? Sometimes if you import from another source (or just for any other possible reason), you could store the contact as a single string which could screw with sorting. Just a theory. Seems like I'm running a very similar setup to yours and it works fine. Sorry, but don't have an answer to your second question.
