I read all posts and links but I'm confused. I don't understood this Mod. It is what, for what and from what?
It unloock my Note from my carrier? After this I can use sim cards from anothers carriers?
I havn't pin on my sim card, i unvalidate always all pin on sim's. Unloock... unloock... what?
Can You teach me about this please?

this mod/fix is for those who have their phone accidentally locked even when on the same network or carrier. The cause of this is blamed mostly on the newer roms with LRK/LRI/LRG base.
This picture attached earlier by me, (see pic below)
if your phone gets that, you will need this mod ONLY if you are on roms with those base listed.
if you don't see that in your phone, and u can still call in and out to others, then this mod/fix is not for you.
If you plan to unlock your phone away from your carrier, the tool that is needed is Helroz's SGS unlocker. This mod/fix from criskelo is for those who are on LRK/LRG/LRI roms that are unable to use Helroz's SGS unlocker when on 4.0.4 base roms, because Helroz's unlocker mainly works only for Gingerbread roms.
So this mod/fix is to enable people who are on 4.0.4 LRK/LRG/LRI based roms to be able to use Helroz's SGS unlocker tool.
To do this, you can opt for method 1 or method 2 or method 3.
Method 1 is for people who are on 4.0.4 with LRK/LRI/LRG
*Download criskelo's fix into sdcard.
*via wifi or any other means, download Helroz's SGS Unlocker from playstore
*Reboot into recovery
*flash criskelo's fix
*Reboot phone
*open Helroz's unlocker
*click on 2nd from left top icon
*click on STEP 1
*click on STEP 2
*click on STEP 3
*once done, reboot phone and you are able to call in and out again
Method 2 is a much longer process and tedious. This method i had to go through before criskelo came out with his fix.
*Download pre-rooted GB rom
*Flash back to GB and make sure you are rooted.
*download Helroz's SGS unlocker via wifi or other means
*click on 2nd from left top icon
*click on STEP 1
*click on STEP 2
*click on STEP 3
*once done, reboot phone and you are able to call in and out again
*move back to ICS if you wish or remain in GB roms. your call.
Method 3 is the simplest of all methods. It requires no intelligence or any technical knowledge.
*Go to nearest mobile phone shop
*Get him/her to fix or trade in or buy a new mobile device.
*solves all problems, continue using and be happy.

my note's phone calls working fine but except for 3g, not even work after change APN settings.

if you can call in and out then you are not network locked. NEtwork lock means u cant even get onto your network. No signal whatsoever. this fix isn't meant for you. As long as u can still call in and out, you are on your carrier. People who use this fix, can't even get onto their own telco carrier.
