all JB ROMs will sim lock your device and flashing the network lock fix + s2 unlock will not work. It's a strange situation where you can receive sms and place a phone call, but after first phone call, you lose the network signal and are unable to connect back to network. every time you go into settings - mobile network it tells you to insert sim. also data connectivity doesn't work at all.
any news regarding this ?

i dont understand why is this happening.why?also with ics.

I did it, but the first time without using the fix and I had no sim card problem...

I did it again on LRI

Fix + Busy Box + Galaxy s unlock

But still having the same issue, network is only on emergency call and i have a no sim card error message in notification bar... Please Help :'(

After you install the unlock program and confirm working, can you switch to another rom that's based on another firmware (not lrg, lri etc) and still be unlocked?

This method unlocks successfully but re-locks on updating the firmware ... and the worst part is ... it affects the 3G ... the 3G becomes horrible after unlocking ... before my phone got locked first time by updating from 2.3.6 (which was unlocked originally) ... the 3G worked fine ... I really dunno what to do ... I'm desperate ugh

Hello, I had this problem and used this way to unlock it ... but I have battery issues and I want to update to the new JB stock ROM ... I know it will lock again, so is there a way to unlock it on JB? thanks
