I have Modded DSPManager to use the libs & Audio files from BEATS to work with AOKP & CM9 ONLY!!!

Flashing this will not mess up your other Equalizers!!​

Just FLASH and enjoy!!

Make sure to change in SETTINGS/SOUND/MUSIC EFFECTS to AWESOME BEATS.

Hi there, I tested this on AOKP B39.

After flashing, the Beats Icon was present in the App drawer, but it had wiped out the music effects Setting completely in Settings-Sound.
The Application itself just made the system freeze, and I had to do a battery pull.

I will produce a logcat a little later when I'm home.

Thanks if your gonna reflash just wipe cache and then reflash and then test it that way on the other website (cough) it was tested on aokp 36,37,38,39,40 and it worked good.

I flashed the Mod on top of aokp build39 (ofc with wiping caches) and it will only add "DSP Manager" as choose in sound settings, not the "Awesome Beats" option like in the screenshot, any ideas?

Did Awesome Beats App install? You might have to manually install it.

Nope it is missing, did not looked up the install .zip if everything installed, hehe. Will install it manually now, thx very much for the amazingly fast reply. :cyclops:

edit: ah the awesome beats app is just shown as DSPmanager in my app list, so also the setting in the sound settings is named DSPmanager and not awesome beats, have to test if it works in practice.

Installs just fine on HP Touchpad but doesn't have the extra option for beats (unless I don't know where to find it)

Miui works if its based on cm9 but just test it out and report it wont do no hard.

i flashed you zip. DSP changed icon to a beats audio icon.
i searched for music control in settings but there is nothing. I'm on CM9 (Extreme AOSP Blitz ROM)
Any idea? even in DSP and Apollo no option
