I've attached a couple of screen shots of the menu when in the sound menu, is that the one you're talking about ?

Aawwww so it doesn't add an extra eq setting it just enhances the current es's. So I usually use the rock eq so that eq will sound better with this mod than it would with the stock dsp manager. Correct? I get it now.

Just dropping by to ask if this definitely works okay with aokp 40? Kinda on a rush here and don't have the time to search too much.

The settings only show up if you have more than one equalizer installed. So if Awesome Beats is the only EQ you have installed you won't get the Music Effects option in the sound settings menu. If you have Apollo installed as well, for instance, the Music Effects option will be there and will let you toggle between Awesome Beats and the EQ built into Apollo (which is called MusicFX).

BTW, is this meant to work with any music app? It works with Apollo but doesn't appear to work with Spotify. AOKP build 40.

In any case, great work!

Will this work with Pandora or Spotify or just the native music app? I had Spotify playing a song though headphones and I was adjusting the settings of the app but I heard no difference in the audio.

Flashed on CM9 based MIUI, wiped dalvik and cache, selected in Settings/Audio/Effects, but it has no real impact on sound. Using MIUI Player.
Every option I try to activate/edit doesn't affect sound at all. Using hearphones, I'm obviusly editing the settings for hearphones :p But still no change at all.
