The problem is with your Rom, just wait for developers to make the Moto Camera 2 more compatible with Custom Rom.

Cannot select SDcard as save location on 20200122 build. Insta-reverts back to 'phone' without asking for sdcard access.

hello, two questions: 1) is it for the latest version of pixel experience android 10?

2) If I install this zip it allows to store the photographs directly in the SD because the one of the playstore does not allow to do it

Hello, I am using this MOD on moto x4 Lineageos 17.1 (Android 10) from May 29, 2020, it seems to me that everything works very well except that I cannot record the audio, the videos are without sound

I am using the moto camera 2 from this thread. First: Thank you very much for providing and updating this mod!
Second: For me everything seems to work except when I start the app, it says :"Hardware version does not support Portrait mode" and I don't have the portrait mode with the nice bokeh effect available. This worked for me under LOS 16 (from January 2020) with the standard moto camera 2 app from the play store / aurora store but not anymore on my now current LOS 17.1.
Any ideas whet could be the problem and what could be done?

If i use the zip, i have to reinstall it after every LOS update? When yes, why not provide as an usual apk, that is survive updates as usual?

I am also curious about this. I installed Moto Camera 2 from the Play Store, and it seems to be running just fine on Pixel Experience. Perhaps this is just needed in certain ROMs?
