I would try this change on GS2 , then I followed everything I was asked by the program .
at the end I choose to create a. zip , of course I choose noise suppression creates a file called NOISESUPPRESSIONOFF .
What should I do ? as I install it ?

Reboot your phone into recovery. Wipe your dalvik - cache and then flash the mod.

But no recovery can not install it ?
I did it again the whole process to modify the file . at the end tells me that I rename the phone but I do not understand ..
that is, I flash the zip created and then after I go to system / app , find the file and renamed in phone.odexed phone.odex ?

1. Your phone must be rooted. If you don't know what that is then you need to search the forum and learn how to do that before using this app.

2. If your phone is rooted then go to the /system/app folder on your phone and rename Phone.odex.

3. Reboot into recovery if you don't know how to get into recovery then search the forum for how to do that.

4. Wipe your dalvik - cache

5. Flash the mod.

6. Reboot the phone and be patient because wiping the dalvik - cache slows down the bootup on the first reboot after wipe.

Hi... i'd been searching this post about 1 month ago trying to solve the problem of noise reduction off in my note, i use a Custom Rom 4.0.3 Deodexed (GOATRIP V2.1)... can any developer change the values or modify my phone.apk to solve this? i read in SGS2 forum that is a way to edit the phone.apk using apkmanager.... change some line in PhoneUtils.smali and recompiled a new phone.apk... any idea of this?

Tried this, followed the instructions. Result : SUPERB !!!! not a single issue (used no ascending tone only)...
ICS 4.0.3 , CleaNote 2.20 custom rom.
I can't find words to thank you.

hello

i have LPY 4.0.3 stock s/w and it didnt work.

I need to remove noise suppression, i have ODEXED version, i was try push it manually to system/app and using flashing zip. Ofcourse i rename Phone.odex

Anyone can help me to work it on this s/w ?
