Just got to settings/app manager then find the myfiles and clear data. hahaha. Fixed it!

Guys, its not working on my s3. I did what you said. But still it FCs. I did as follows:
1. Downloaded and copy it, then paste into system/app/ and overwrite.
2. Set permission as r-w,r,r and rebooted.
After rebooting its FCs. Then i cleared data on app manager. Still FCs. What should I do guys?
My device status:
Rooted, Odexed stock rom, XSG(UAE) firmware, Latest NA8-NB6 version.
Hope you can help me.

EDIT: Sorry, I fixed it . I deleted the SecNoteMyfiles.odex file from system/app/ then it worked

Does this work on Any custom rom?

Im using Archidroid 1x and already had the standard my files app as part of the ROM, so renamed that one to SecMyfiles2.apk and copied the one from this thread in the same location.

Rebooted the device and cleared data in app manager - i couldn't find "myfiles" in the list but it was under com.sec.android...etc. so i cleared the Data under this process.

I checked app info of the new "myfiles" and it pointed to the com.sec process hence i cleared the data of that but still it just force closes.

Any suggestions?

Thanks mate! Nice mod! But when I tried to change my LCD density to 240dpi, the myfiles started to forced close! i tried to clear the data of myfiles in app manager, and also tried to set the myfile dpi to 320, but still nothing happens, still getting forced close. Hows that? Is this not compatible with other dpi? But thanks by the way @apogeo

used this on my s4 mini (hdpi,runs 4.2.2 ) after flashing the apk its gone from drawer and app manger (no even com.sec.myfiles) ... any ideas ??
