Guys, I took a look at this and the file does have a lot of differences comparing return to stock to Sprint stock. I took a swing at the port with the medium volume increase to 87.
Try it and tweak it you like. Share the results here if you think it's an improvement. Credit to the developer linked in OP.
I just copied both return to stock and medium volume increase with surround and compared return to stock to Sprint stock before porting the changes. Tested on YouTube and Pandora stream. No unexpected volume through front speaker when headphones plugged-in.
Sounds like the front speaker could use a little boost to me. YMMV.

Note 4_med_mixer_paths.xml [copy to /system/etc/mixer_paths.xml and set permissions to root, root, rw,r,r (0,0 0644). Reboot]
Sprint_Note 4_med_Test_Surround.zip

Note 4_loud_mixer_paths.xml
Sprint_Note 4_loud_Test_Surround.zip

Edit: I see the OP in original thread is porting to all requested devices soon. Consider this a test for those that want to try. Use at own risk. Volume warning is still in place AFAIK; be safe.

Why can't we go and flashed the OP way and is yours any difference from his.
Sorry, late for me when I read this the first time. I thought you were requesting a zip to flash.
Reading the original OP's thread, one poster described a situation where a caller could not hear the user using this mod on a different phone. It was warned that using different mixers could induce unexpected results.
The differences I noted that I can recall were the microphones and fm radio. The original mod was for T-Mobile Note 4 Edge. So beware, you'd have to test a wide variety of calling and recording scenarios to say the modification works for a different model. The OP understood that and was requesting users interested to share their mixer xml with him to properly port to avoid dysfunction across all uses of the speakers and microphones. Using the wrong modified mixer, you may find some loss of functionality at some point. Test calling on all the radios and Wi-Fi, with and without loudspeaker and also with and without headphones to check for full compatibility. Audi test the recording features including in-call recording of both sides of the conversation.
If you prefer the loud, the mod is two in one, I believe. It wouldn't be that difficult to modify the medium to loud. Or wait until the original OP ports his work to all requested mixers across carriers and phones. I may try the loud mod later when I have more time.
Hope that better answers your question.

So far I have no problem.

I've uploaded loud test xml and zip and placed the links in post #5 of this thread.
If you're still using the mod from the T-Mobile Note 4 Edge with no issues that's good to hear but I somewhat doubt that all possible scenarios are working as intended.
To elaborate on what I said before, there are some paths that called by different names and one that totally removes all the variables in a T-Mobile path when comparing the two original files. Hey, the original surround mod in loud configuration may actually sound better; I may have missed something. To anyone concerned as myself, I'd recommend this test version until the original OP ports directly to our device. Loud was the original T-Mobile Note 4 Edge release as tested and fixed for the audio issue resolved so maybe it's more ideal for our device.

I'd also like to know if there are sound quality issues or differences comparing the two so try if you like. Hoping it's the same mod but fully compatible. I've linked this to the original OP so feedback may be helpful to someone. Thanks and don't forget to thank the developer in original thread.
