Once the file is flashed, I see no Beats audio installed in applications...? Not in app drawer OR in Settings>Applications>Manage Applications>All
Did I miss something? Does it just run as a system application? see the sig for my setup...please help!
Exactly my question.. maybe i`m deaf but i`m sure there is a difference on my Wildfire.

No there is no additional application, but you will feel the difference when you play music :) :D

For those who are getting Status 0 error.. try the below steps.. I am not so sure, but just give a try.

1. Unzip your ROM and find
META-INF/com/google/android/update-binary file
2. Put this file in the zip containing the Mod (overriding MOD's META-INF file)
3. Flash your modified zip.
woooohoo it's works . tank you dude ;);):)

Holly f*ck, it works like hell with Voodoo LOUDER, Mixzing and the Eq on it and a AKG k518DJ
So yes you can flash the zip with any GB (mine is Hyperdroid with Siyah)

I will try to flash right now on Galaxy Nexus CDMA , will report in few min

EDIT: flash seemed to work just fine on galaxy nexus I actually do own beats toro and with equalizer Bass & Treble in PowerAmp it seems to be very nice I wish I could get software like the OP so I could verify on Galaxy nexus

What does this do exactly? Is it just a DSP that adds more bass or something(read: Not technically improving anything), or does it somehow make better use of the audio hardware/software in Android?

This sounds awesome. Haven't tried yet, tho.

There is something I would like to know:

- If I am on Gingerbread and using PowerAMP, will I be able to hear a difference? AFAIK PowerAMP kind of uses an own Audio Layer or something ...
- I use Simfy on a regular basis to stream my favorites. Will the sound quality improve as well?

As I have Beats In-Ears for my Samsung Galaxy S2, I would really appreciate the Beats Setup within the software :)
Yes, works fine with PowerAmp. PowerAmp uses native code but mostly for lossless and other codecs that are not explicitly supported by Android. Also, it does not bypass the system entirely.

Not to be picky, but is this legal?
I guess. No trademark or copyrighted app has been used. Its just modified code.

For me The sound is same no bass effect:(
no difference for me
You need good headphones that have enough range. On regular $30 cans, it will sound the same no matter what..
The sound is much cleaner, tighter and deeper bass, clean highs and crisp mids. The sound is definitely a LOT better!

Does this work with any player? I am using the Pro Player
Yes it does.

Really? I don't hear any differences at all (maybe there are, but very subtle). That spectrum shows differences but I bet the differences will be very subtle when you're hearing the song.

No, the differences are quite obvious, provided you have capable headphones which can show the result. The difference is quite clear on the few headphones I tested - Sennheiser HD380, ATH M-50, Beyerdynamics DT 990 Pro (even without my Fiio in between).

P.S - For everyone asking "Will this work on my this with that player on XYZ ROM":

----> It will work as long as you're on a GB ROM. Try it and post if you come across any issues. Don't ask dumb questions and please read the OP twice if you can't get it the first time.
