Am I the only one that finds this amusing?
Here we are, over 30 posts later, and NOT ONE PERSON is able to properly articulate what this "mod" is supposed to do?!

Forget about whether or not it actually works (personally, I have my doubts - what do you expect is going to come out of a $100 cellphone? $3,000-sounding audio?) all we really wanna know is: WHAT IS THIS SUPPOSED TO DO?

The fact that about a dozen folks have come online, flashed the mod, and then reported "yeah, it sounds better" just shows how ignorant everyone's being. For those who have flashed, I have yet to see a proper description about HOW or WHY it's better. You're not helping the cause here, people.


Until someone can clearly state what this is for, I ain't touching it with a 10 ft. pole.... and neither should you!

If someone made a decent flash mod and they want us to try it, the least they can do is TELL US WHAT IT FUCKING DOES!!

I feel like I'm taking crazy pills over here!

LOL! Mate, you sound like ur a special kid off his meds!!! (lol sorry, just jks, k?) Beats Audio is supposed to further enhance the bass presence and existence in music such as RnB, Rap, Hip-Hop, Bass, Techno and (best for last!) dubstep. This is supposed to also help the sound of the song with a broader dynamic range and clearer audio overall.

Hope I could help, if not, I'll just join the queue of people who "flashed this mod and said it works"! LOL! JKS, K?

i have a huuuuuuge issue.... I accidentally deleted the DSP manager, but I do have a copy of it on my sd card... i copy it to my system/app directory, but it force closes after a few minutes. for this beats to work, do i need the dsp?

I don't know if it requires DSP but you can easily fix the force close issues by changing permissions, like this:

Dude if you don't know beats audio by dr dre does you really should not talk ..flash it and just listen for once in your life...you will probably recant the 3k for 100 dollar phone comment ...its really good sound upgrade....
