does this work with FXP CM9.1 btw?
the stock camera app i find better then the one included in CM9.1, simply due to the fact that half the screen in CM9.1 is used for 1 button.
atleast with stock the entire screen shows what the camera sees.

Install via Root Explorer, Extract rar file copy file to system, set all file permissions to rw-r--r-- move file SemcCameraUI.apk to folder app and media_profile.xml to folder etc

lol thats impossible, 16:9 can do 9 million pixels since 9.000.000 : (16 x 9 = 144) = 62500 (full number)
whilst 12.000.000 : 144 = 83333.333333 pixels.
you cannot take a 1/3 of a pixel

what is possible is 12.001600 though (thats 4616 x 2600) but still that is 1600 pixels more, so its not exactly 12 mp, should call it 12,0016 MP

I.think.it's impossible, as our camera is 12mp, and originally makes photos in 4:3. Making pictures 16:9 is just cutting up and down edges. I'm not 100% about it, but I think it works this way although, it would be good to see option to make the best pictures possible in 16:9, like picture 12mp with cutted up.and down to fit 16:9

Exactly, the camera sensor is 4:3 you can only crop image to have 16:9

P.s. 16:9 sensors.are very rare
